The Jerk! He didn't even view the story! I know I wanted people to dislike my work, but I wanted them to have a reason, not just to be mean! This slightly pisses me off. Why do people do that? It's just plain rude. Sigh. This is not what I wanted.

Your introduction is basically one big info dump. It does very little to catch a reader's interest. There is probably a more interesting way of showing that Vinyl is related to royalty and hates it rather than just telling us in the introduction.
