This is me testing the waters, so to speak. Been writing for a while, but I've been doing a lot more of it lately, and I've recently been thinking about taking commissions for my work. Now, I believe I'm ready, so I've decided to write this blog post outlining the details!

• No fics above 10K words. I'm not used to writing fics that are more than a few chapters, and I don't want my first time to be a commission.

For those who've been watching Ponyventure: Blood Hunts Blood - I haven't actually deleted it, I've just revoked my submission while I edit it and find a proofreader and rethink a few core concepts.

Seriously, I knew AU OC fics weren't popular, but...

Prompted by accidentally placing Sombra's Crucible, Twilight's Corruption into an improper group, I realized that said story was in a bunch of groups that it really didn't belong in. Trying to figure out how to remove my story from those groups. Unfortunately, work on revising that story is... non-existent. Even the name disgusts me, ugh...

Just so everypony knows, I am in fact still working on Shattered Darkness, for those who care. It's just... lately my writing feels so shallow, both with descriptions and with plots. I know what I want to write, but I just... don't have the muse to do it justice. It's strange. I used to be really good with purple prose, now it's just sort of beige. It's weird... I went from writing too much to writing too little.

Much sooner than I'd have hoped for, I've begun work on my second story, the as-yet unnamed sequel to to Sombra's Crucible, Twilight's Corruption. This time, the flame of inspiration will be tempered by the ice of proofreading and editing... I hope.

Okay, so my apologies to my readers (the few that'll see this post) for putting up a chapter and then taking it down.

In truth, the last few days I've been going by the "National Novel Writing Month" approach to writing, which is to just get it all out with no thought to editing. I've been doing this primarily because I don't want to keep the readers waiting, which is rather unfortunate because it's become apparent that deadlines wreak havoc with my work.
