I had to walk like three miles to get to a place I could post this. Not 100% when I'll make it to the new place, but on the plus side with zero distractions from writing (read: spending twelve hours a day with nothing but a computer with no games or internet on it) I'm making some progress on a number of fics that had been back-burner'd. Getting kicked out right before christmas. I've got something lined up but it'll be a bit before I can get internet. You guys will know when I'm back, trust me.

Stuff happened, not really important enough to go into here-- suffice to say I was on some medication that messed with my sense of time and made me unable to write. I'm back now, and on fire to finish up some of my half-finished stories. The first should be up later tonight.

Finally finished this thing up so I can stop looking at it.

And, y'know, make all of you look at it.

October is halfway through. I'm not halfway through with One-Shotober.

That doesn't mean I haven't been working, and it doesn't necessarily mean I'm not finishing. (It's increasingly unlikely I will, but I'm trying not to publish things I'm not happy with yet. I could probably do a crackfic or ten and get caught up, but I want my stuff to mean something, even if it only means something to me.)

Might be a bit of a crack ship, but whatever. I enjoyed writing it and it kept me from falling too many days behind while working on Lyra Needs Help.

It's called An October-December Romance and I'll edit this post with the story link when it goes live.

I'm taking it down for now. I've reread it just now, and past me, I don't know what you were thinking. This is a terrible story that asks too much of the reader for too little return.

It's still my baby. It's still a story I want to tell someday.
