Concerning Heart of the Reluctant Filly · 9:02am Oct 7th, 2013
I'm taking it down for now. I've reread it just now, and past me, I don't know what you were thinking. This is a terrible story that asks too much of the reader for too little return.
It's still my baby. It's still a story I want to tell someday.
But I'm not ready to tell it, and dear reader, you aren't ready to read it.
Yes, it's a window into my weird headcanon, but it doesn't sell the reader on any of it. It asks you to believe ten impossible things before breakfast, and then makes you make your own breakfast.
I'm not done writing. By the time this is all said and done, I think you'll want to read the story this becomes. It's not that story yet.
Thanks for reading this.
I understand. It might not have proofread or needs some minor tweaks to make it better. I'll wait patiently for the new version.

It needed more than a proofreader, it needed to not be a meandering series of conversations with no real bearing on the plot.
That said, I do plan to start work on a revised version of it-- an outline at least --after Lyra Needs Help gets finished. That one is looking like it might be six thousand words because I do not understand what a one-shot is.
Well I enjoyed it when it was up and hope one day for its return.
