Boy, do I love staying busy at work! I decided that we need a backlog of GoPro footage to use at work, and have tackled it head on. I have been coming home super tired, which has cut into my writing, but the upside is that this project has been making a big difference at work.

So, Applejack just got her key, and we find out that our Granny Smith was once a high diver. While that does mess with my story, it has potential to make things better.

Think about it: a high diving act in a traveling circus is a good cover for smuggling illegal goods. This could make for an interesting development for the Faction of the Stud.

It'll take some retooling, but I am liking the idea so far.

So I work online helping make product videos. Most of the time, I just edit, but every so often, I shoot videos. Well, I work by the philosophy of 'see a need, fill a need' and we needed to do this video for pad locks. And guess who they stuck in front of the camera.

So new content is on it's way in The Private Scrapbook! I made two new chapters (Go Ahead, I'm Listening and Kizzy's Choice) and edited The Final Sign, Now calling it Return to Dodge City. The new chapters include a psychic evaluation and addictive personality in Smithy and Kizzy's decision to go back to Zebrica. The reedit shows some of the economic effects of emancipation, and starts describing the effects of war on Equestria, including the Draft that kills Fairly Rich.

So the season opener was fabulous. Great animation, lore, and some great flashbacks. While this was all a pleasure to watch, I couldn't help thinking that it won't help with my fic in progress, Never Where There Such Devoted Sisters. It hasn't been popular to start with, and the recent lore development won't help with my ideas. I am considering scrapping it for another idea.
