Just a little heads-up. I'm officially putting the Collateral on hiatus. Though it has been a long time since the last update, I've been slowly chipping away at the next chapter and a bit with a little progress. The problem is, it is too disorganized to be effective.

This is one of those stories that I am surprised has slipped under the radar of my people. At 27 chapters, and being as well written as it is, it should really have some more views.

The name Shade had stuck following a series of attempts to identify him. They had all failed. He had the impact of a shadow, and the lethality and subtlety of a needle laced with a Tatzelwurm’s venom. If he was even half as deadly as he was in dreams, he could kill everyone in Canterlot castle within an hour with only the dead knowing the deed.

Funnily enough, I didn't get as much time off over Christmas break as I would have hoped. The grocery store I worked at needed me for extra shifts. So, between that and time relaxing, I figure I might as well give a status update for all my stories.

Though Let Them Eat Cake is a standalone, it kind of is part of a spiritual series. I have already written the second of them, A Pie Worth Makin', and I am working on the next, though I haven't exactly figured out which.
