I have noticed with my two most recent updates for The Lost Element that I have acquired a particularly large number of downvotes. More than 20 in under a week. This is a new record.

I am wondering. Is the quality of my writing decreasing? Does this surge in downvotes point to poor writing on my part?

There is a question I have on my mind. For those who have been keeping up with me for a while, you may know that music often plays a heavy role in my writings. And I know that it is possible to insert videos into chapters, such as music videos on Youtube.

Would it be a good idea to insert videos containing the music that fit the moment they are placed at?

The Lost Element has drawn praise, scorn, hatred, and enjoyment, but I never expected to receive words quite this deep or powerful.

Well, the Crystal Fair convention has come and gone. And despite being nowhere near as massive as Bronycon.....I have to say I honestly prefer this one more. It was especially flattering to read over the mascots for the convention in the programs. Toasted Ravioli, Buckweiser, Flying Spirit... So much heritage of my hometown represented in those three ponies. And I think I may have been the only person from The Hill who attended...

With the completion and posting of chapter 12 "Tainted Memories", the first volume of The Lost Element is now complete and almost ready for printing. However, more people are needed to actually want to purchase a copy in order for demand to be great enough for the printing of the story to be worth the time and resources. What is more, the more people who wish to own a copy, therefore increasing the number of copies produced, will also reduce the price of each copy.
