It is in this ordinarily-not-so-humble-Australian's humble opinion that this episode was not a very good one, for one simple reason. Time. 22 minutes was not long enough for this episode to tell the story it was trying to tell.

The pageant put on by the mane 6 in this episode strikes me as very folk tale-y. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the characters played by the mane 6 were never actually even real ponies. Rather, representations of ideas.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are princesses, and there for, should be adressed as: 'Highness'.

Not 'Majesty', not 'Excellency', not 'Grace'.

Your Highness. They are princesses. Princesses are refered to as Highness.

Kings and Queens are 'Majesty'.
