Doctor Whooves, recently having dropped off Derpy, decides to learn more about Equestria by going back to its past, mainly in its beginning, but when his blue box fails, he soon comes across The Operator, an enigmatic figure who had kept a tight hoof on the events of Equestria. This is the results of The Operator learning of somepony who can disrupt the time stream he had worked so hard to mold. The Operator then brings The Doctor to the examples of his power.

After waking up one night to see his father screaming over him, MaelStrom's life changed forever, for all of those who joined him and all of his enemies.
