I am forced to concluded that I am incapable of writing short stories. The most recent chapter of A Chronicle from a Time of Darkness is over 4,000 words and keeps getting longer. My only prayer is for it to end!

No idea if the taged stories option is working yet, but this is just an update to assure everyone who is reading A Chronicle form a Time of Darkness that I will continue writing it. There may be some slowdown in how often chapters appear, due to a project I'm attempting to get started with GreyGuardPony, but we'll see if that goes anywhere.

Look for the next update at the end of this week.

You may or may not have noticed already, but both A Matter of Interest and Matters if Lesser Interest are on hiatus. The reason for this is neither multifaceted or complex. Put simply, I am focusing on A Chronicle from a Time of Darkness for the moment.

My writing sometimes reminds me of Charlie Chaplin. Not in the sense that I'm a comic genius, but in the sense that I'll sometimes stop work on a story for days, days while I think of the next scene.

Which I guess is distressing, because really, it doesn't take that long to write 5,000 words.
