Sup guys and gals! If there's one thing that's certain, it's that this site has a lot of bad stories. Sure, there are loads of good stories, but there's been a few common things I've noticed these bad stories seem to have in common. Of course, as time goes on, the site's idea of what makes a story good is ever-changing. A lot of people like to say stuff like "I write for myself". That's fair, almost everybody writes because they want to, not because others want them to. But some people choose to use that as an excuse for their stories not being edited, having bad characterization, being too fast-paced, or not being well thought out in general. Alright, if there is one thing I hate more than anything on this site, it's when someone writes a bad story, and I mean very bad, and someone feels the need to comment and say "IGNORE THE HATERS, I LIKED IT!". Allow me to give you an example, with the names blacked out so I don't get banned for "hating on another user". Neither of them have logged on in ages though, so whatever.
