Recently I flew nearly 8 thousand km (nearly 5 thousand miles) so naturally I picked up a book before heading out. By chance I stumbled across a book called "John Dies @ the End," by David Wong (that's the pseudonym of Jason Pargin). The book is, for lack of a better word, insane. Mix Douglas Adams with H.P. Lovecraft, lock it in the basement to fester for about 10 years and you get a vague sense of what kind of book this is.
As the title of this blog states, I haven't slept in 58. I say mostly because periodically I curl up in a hiding spot at work and just take a quick 15-20 minute nap. Not often enough to be particularly helpful but it keeps me moving. Now this isn't due to some insomnia or anything. Rather, my job is just really demanding right now. In another two weeks I'll be out by 10-10:30am all week. It's a total mess.
The Journal is tagged because I wrote that as part of this endeavor.
Several weeks ago I started doing this thing where I write 1000 words every day regardless of anything else that may be happening in my life. It was suggested to me by a friend who claims Stephen King gave that advice and I haven't bothered to check if that's true.
So I think enough time has passed that I can talk about what I thought about the 50th Year Anniversary of Doctor Who and not feel bad about spoilers (Also I've only just watched it :U). None the less: Spoilers ahead: Also I've tagged That Blue Box because it's Doctor Who related and I figure there is bound to be a few whovians in the mix. Probably.
I didn't like it.
Okay so I'm going to tell you guys something that happened recently to me and I want you to tell me how you would react in this particular situation. Because frankly I just don't even know. Mistakes were made.
I'm back and will get the next chapter for That Blue Box out ASAP. It would have been sooner but I was at Bronycon and routing the proper paperwork plus having to deal with a few certain liberty briefs was pretty annoying. The 7-8 hour drive was made better by the constant pony music and rock&roll me and my buddies had. Fun fun fun :D
On Bronycon, I had a wonderful time. There were some things that just made me laugh, like
So Don't hate me but I haven't been writing for my Doctor Whooves fic much at all.
I'd like to take this time to butter you guys up with a cute picture along with littering this post with a bunch of pictures to .. actually I don't really know
I'm a tad disappointed in myself because I wanted to get this most recent chapter out by about a week and a half ago. That clearly didn't work but it was due to some writers block, something that was difficult enough to work around. However once I got past it ideas just kept coming. In fact I'd go as far to say that the next 3 adventures (not including the one I just started) are already completely planned out. Meaning the next 11 chapters (at least, maybe a few more if I'm feeling ambitious)
Warning: may contain nuts slight spoilers
So I have finally decided on what the content of the Doctor's next adventure with Derpy will be and I found out something that I guess I already kinda knew.
