School is a great way to unwittingly overload on homework. I'll say that much.

Anyway's I have had some down time between classes and such to crank out a new story. It won't be what was expected but will hopefully be a fun story. Might be confident enough to upload it wednesday or sometime before saturday.

Now to work on a continuing series, if there are no complaints.

Getting my mitts on a nook and downloading the epub of Mechanist's Flutter made me realize that I had a lot of holes in the very first part that are bothering the living daylights out of me, especially since the mindset of "Survive a creative writing class" is settling in for this school term. As a result I'm thinking I'll follow the example of GaruuSpike and reboot MF under a more fitting title for what I've been working on.

Some of you may have noticed that the way Mechanist's Flutter Part 1 flows and ends, that it was originally meant to be a one-shot story. Would anypony object to me reworking this part into something that demands a sequel?

Something I've got in mind flushes out more of Morris' world, and even offers a (hopefully) more gradual transition to Gear's decision to go to sleep.

Yeah, just taking its time since I'm back in school.
We might be getting into darker territory with it, especially how it finishes.

Just a little heads up, this story will be vital in understanding a new series I intend to post.

Part 3 Section 1, Up

Figured it would be a good idea to add the rest of the Mane 6 as characters since they seem more intertwined than just a few lines.

Mechanist's Flutter is uploaded, split in two to try and avoid the single 10k word document. The events that unfold added the Adventure and Comedy tags as well as an extra main character.

Part 2 is lookin' to be a long one. I might split it into a few parts and upload them as I go, so far I might aim to release Part 2 in it's entirety either before the New Year, on New Years Day, or the day after. So grab your readin' glasses, I'm sure there's plenty of fun to be had.

Oh, and I renamed Chapter 1 from it's default to something more fitting.

So, what is going on is that finals have done done for a week now and I've been compiling information about how Mechanist's Flutter Chapter 2 would play out. I figured that with the complexities behind my original idea that I'd like to hold off on introducing her to an entirely new world, especially one that is... How dark? Can I leave it at... "A-Bomb is constantly armed to quell Any complaints"
