Everae

Who art I?

Currently a reader of stories, not a singer of songs (lacking confidence), and I do not paint the Ghostly Gums.

Was supposed to have written a Persona 4 conversion of MLP (given up on it) but I write other stuff on my fanfiction.net account (which I also feel I have given up on) http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2057532/Everae

My channel resides here floating on the ocean of other much more deserved channels, where I do readings and games and other such fun.

======================

If your story is on my favourites list. it is either because:
1. You are most worthy of a read.
2. I like your writing style; either being fluid, poetic or intelligent.
3. Conceptually I enjoy the presentation weaved through your narrative and I will use you as an inspiration.
4. I see much potential in you and I will keep my eyes on you.
5. I am interested in your story but don't want to subscribe.
6. I like your story but am interested in re-reading it at some point but don't want to 'Watch Later'.

There needs to be a way to categories to organise stuff... :twilightangry2:

It has been 3 years and a month since I last touched Snow and Shadows for release. It has been so long that even LoyalLiar is taking a break(?, good luck and all the best for his new job, marriage and life in general, gonna miss his writing.) By all rights, I should at least have finished at least one series of 24th's writing.

The Twisted Snates, huh?

I'm not quite sure what that means, but I'm glad to get a shelf to myself. :raritywink:

Thanks for adding New Experiences to your Favourites bookshelf. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for the fave!

Howdy! Thanks a ton for adding The Firework Lotus to your favourites! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Dear Everae,

Thank you for playing a game of Chess with me. I'm glad we both had fun, no matter who the winner was, and I hope that we can sit down for another game sometime soon.

(Thanks for the fave!)

I don't mind reading your stories, they are quite nice to read. The Song was something different I don't see too much nowadays and the last time I read something like that was Dante's Divine Comedy.. so yeah, still good job with it. :rainbowkiss:

Thank you very much for the Fave of The Song of Syhlex, Everae! I'm glad you are still finding stories of mine to enjoy!

Thank you for favouriting Sombra Dislikes Crystals! There's gonna be much more to come!

Hey, friend! Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the fave on Princess Twilight Takes A Walk. I'll admit, This story made me nervous, since it's not a typical narrative, but knowing that at least some one enjoys it means the world to me!

Thanks for the watch, mate! :pinkiehappy:

Hi again! Thank you for the fave of Dear Idiot! Also, thanks for the Watch! I greatly appreciate it!

Thanks a whole bunch for the Fave of Zenith! I hope that you'll enjoy finding out where Spike's journey takes him!:moustache:

I do read author's notes.. believe me.. It's for one of your fics... and as for the editor... perhaps get a bit more people to do it. Seriously, if you can, just get a few friends or beta readers to check it. I've had people catch things I missed, or some of the others miss every once in a while. :trixieshiftright: SO anyway, yeah. It's your story and you tell it the way you want to.

Forgive me if I sound rather scathing, I'm rather annoyed by something at the moment, some recording somewhat. And plus there are other things I do not wish to discuss.

I already have an editor for Luna Plays. You don't need to tell me that.:trixieshiftright:
We just decided that EEMMORPG is a tad bit more important.
As for the OCXLuna thing... do I need to direct you back to the story's description in there? There's a reason why I have author notes in it.

My favourite parts of the story... hm,... I guess I would say would be; the gamer-tags of the ponies, some of the situations Luna gets into, the variety of games that are used in the story, the length of the stories do not overstay their welcome, the concept of how the ponies can get into the virtual reality gaming... :scootangel: I can't recall much else at the moment, I usually favourite and update stories if I think it has some potential of some sort, whether in concept tor execution.

Things that put me off of the series. Seriously, get an editor or someone to proofread of some sort. :pinkiecrazy: I get really put off by your wording sometimes and it kills the mood and flow. :pinkiesad2: Present tense usage also put me off considering I have never read any of the sort, but that's a personal thing. :twilightsheepish: Umm... also the relationship between the OC and Luna is kinda odd, like for some reason it seems to be on a whim, but perhaps make it more believable somehow.

Also, try looking up accents and learning mannerisms of different people. The way I found to speak in a deeper voice without sounding like Bale's Batman was actually through being able to copy the Nigerian accent then expanding from there. Now I am trying out the Boston accent, the one Bab Seed has.

I started listening to this guy recently. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUkDbIdcnHErbMWj30cKU3Q
It's quite interesting and you can practise whenever.

Another thing, feel free to practice voices wherever you go, driving a car is one of the best places. Have fun doing voices, I have fun doing a Three Stooges/80's mobster thing whenever I see someone screw up on the road or self-commentary on my own mistakes. Just do as many voices as you can, just don't force them, eventually you'll be able to do them easily as you adjust. Also, one of the best things to do is establish 'bases' in voices. For example, for me, doing Bane's voice from Chris Nolan's Batman is just Deckard Cain from Diablo with a higher and slurred voice. So try that too.

Sorry about not replying earlier, I never check my profile cause I never thought people would talk to me.

Oh wow, thank you.. :fluttercry: I felt bad after doing it because I really didn't like how the mic couldn't pick up some of my lower voices and they ended up all sounding the same, but it is somewhat heartwarming to hear someone actually enjoyed it. :pinkiesad2: As for vocal range, its I dunno. I don't have the background to support it in music or stage or whatever, what I do recommend is to try imitating character voices: mine was Snake (all of them) from Metal Gear Solid, characters from Game of Thrones TV series and quite a few others I can't recall from the top of my head.

What I don't. Don't smoke, it can help make some people's voices like LordJazor but break others. Be right back, gotta go seomwhere.

Your reading of 'Snow and Shadows' was amazing. Great work. I wish I had that kind of vocal range.
