Well, it's up. I was going to post parts 4 and 5 at the same time, but I'm obsessing over a section of part 5, so I'm not sure how long it'll be until I get that out of my system.

Honestly, I'm not convinced the writing of part 4 holds up very well compared to the first three. I tend to act a bit crazy, but I'm not stupid. I was inevitably going to write chapters I wasn't completely satisfied with, but it still annoys me.

I'm truly sorry new chapter submissions for SDYS are taking so long. I'm aiming to make amends by posting the next two chapters concurrently, just as soon as I can. In the meantime, please don't think I've abandoned the story - I haven't. Crazy doesn't die so easy.

So I'm kind of back. UTNS Part 3 isn't ready, I'm sorry to report. I've decided to scrap the draft I'd almost finished and redo it from scratch. Why? Because even if it is just an experimental piece, I want it to suck less than the first draft did. Maybe I'll go back and redo the whole dang thing one day, who knows.

In the meantime, the first part of my second project is going up. But seriously, updates are gonna be pretty slow for a while.

Health concerns have drastically impeded my progress recently. Under the Night Sky's conclusion is almost ready for posting, but I have to transfer it out of my native document software onto the site, and the formatting will probably explode when I do, so that'll take a bit longer again. Either way, the conclusion will be up soon.

Hey, it's not a meme, but I'm still impressed! Thank you to everyone who's been reading the story. I must admit, after being out of fanfiction for so long, then to choose a subject to come back on that requires heavily adapting my writing style, I had my doubts this was going to work out.
