Derailed

A simple one word explanation for what's happened. I wont go into great detail, because I'm not the attention seeking sort and by now I doubt many if any care. While I did warn everypony from the beginning my presence here was likely temporary and my writing in ponydom experimental, ironically it was not this that has seen my prolonged absence.

A combination of medical issues and personal events prevented me from writing "Shipping, Do You Speak It?". If I had continued it in the mental state I've been under until recently, it would have become something very different. The way I see it, it was better to let it collect dust than ruin it. For what it's worth, I'm not happy it's been left discontinued for so long now.

It would be irresponsible of me to promise I'm going to change that. However, for whatever little it may be worth, I am looking into it again. I don't know if I will continue it yet, my mindset is a bit different than it was at the time and I'm not entirely certain it will read the same as it had been. I may move on to a new project and start from scratch, but the motivation is still there to at least "try".

I suppose in the end this is an awfully inconclusive blog, but at least it shows I'm still alive.
