First of all, as you probably expected, a new chapter is up. So go read that.
Done?
Alright then, on to business.
If there is anything the nonconformist hates worse than a conformist, it's another nonconformist who doesn't conform to the prevailing standard of nonconformity.
First of all, as you probably expected, a new chapter is up. So go read that.
Done?
Alright then, on to business.
Hey everyone!
Guess what I did?
That's right! I made a sequel to Cutie Mark Crusader Alcoholics!
It's the same deal as before. I got drunk, started a story with no prior planning, and just wrote.
This time, things get... very, very, crazy.
You'll see what I mean.
Here you go. Go read it, and have some fun.
P.S.
First of all, I just want to re-iterate: There will not be a chapter this week, because finals. Hopefully this makes up for it.
Disclaimer: The lyrics in the song are a joke! (Unless, y'know? Unless you're up for it. Give me a call.)
Alright, remember when I promised I'd do something grand for 100 watchers? Yeah, this is that.
My first idea was to sing a song. I was considering not doing it at first, but this song is just too perfect.
"Why Zaponator, you magnificent beast?" I hear you cry. "What could be the cause of this fantastic dancing?"
"The reason," I reply as I gracefully weave a tapestry of sheer sex appeal with my dance moves, "is twofold."
First of all, I've broken 100 watchers!
(Yes, I failed to screencap 100 exactly.)
Also, a little bit of a music recommendation.
But first, business.
Alright, I'll tell you the good news first, the next chapter is up, and it's over 9000(!) words.
So yeah, you may want to read that, maybe not, you can decide that for yourself. I'll try to be vague in this blog post to avoid spoilers.
In this chapter I introduce a bunch of OCs. Hopefully you don't hate them.
Someone inspired me recently. That person was Florence Foster Jenkins.
Florence could not sing, this much was known, she had literally no talent for it whatsoever. But what did she choose to do with her life?
She was a professional singer for forty years. I'm not saying that people liked her singing despite its terribleness. No, people laughed at her at most, if not all, of her shows, and critics regularly ridiculed her. But she did it anyway, because she loved to sing.
In editing.
There. Done. Bye.
What? You want more information?
Bah, fine!
So my story "Mare of War" is currently in editing by the amazing Pilate. I am not even kidding when I say that he saved the life of this story.
With his edits, this thing is a thousand times better. The first block of chapters that I will release all at once is ~14,000 words. Yay.
It should be a few days at least, but it will be worth the wait.
Okay so, first things first.
If you're new around these parts, and missed my previous blog post, go read it now.
That's the one where I do my special thanks, and all that good stuff. Don't worry I'll wait for you to come back.
Done? Alright then, on to business.
So, I'm pretty sure you guys want more drunk crusaders.
Well on that note, good news everyone!
