Sapphire Shores is a changeling. She's always been a changeling, trained while still a nymph to take a newborn filly's place and grow into a leader of ponies, a tastemaker, a herald to undermine Princess Celestia and pave the way for Queen Chrysalis's eventual conquest.

This has had something of an effect on her life and career.

My entry in Jake The Army Guy's Horseword Extravaganza 2: The Horsewordening with the prompt of "Beyond Equestria's Borders," this story didn't make the Top Six.

Gallus wants to ask Silverstream to the Amity Ball their sophomore year without embarrassing the both of them to death. Silverstream wants that, too, but neither of them has any idea how to even talk about what they want without causing the aforementioned death by embarrassment.

Fortunately, the Spirit of the Tree of Harmony wants to help. Though "fortunately" might be the wrong word...

My entry in FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Sovereigns II contest with the theme of Abdication, this story didn't reach the Top Seven.

The summer after graduating from Canterlot High five years ago, Sunset and her friends saved the world from a super villain who called himself Grogar. The repercussions of that event made it the last time they could all stand being in the same room as each other.

But now Canterlot City is holding a commemorative ceremony in honor of their victory, and Sunset's husband Time Turner has convinced her that they should go.

She really should've tried to come up with a better argument for staying home.

To Elaine Torkleson, an attorney working in West Los Angeles, the name "My Little Pony" conjures up nothing but vague memories of these half-hour toy commercials she heard about while in college during the 1980s.

But when a scientist from Pasadena's Jet Propulsion Laboratory comes into her office one afternoon in the summer of 2019 with a device that he claims can utilize the properties of quantum tunneling to let people enter cartoons, Elaine finds herself forced to reassess pretty much everything she ever thought she knew.

Spike's been dealing with crazy ponies his entire life, but when he coughs up an invitation to the double wedding of Celestia and Luna to Flim and Flam, he realizes that he hasn't yet seen half the craziness ponies are capable of.

When Twilight becomes determined to unravel the mystery of how poison joke does what it does, Fluttershy agrees to help since her reaction to the flower is the least debilitating among all their friends. Things don't go as planned, of course, and the experience changes Fluttershy and Twilight's lives in ways neither of them could ever have imagined.

This story is quite tame as far as the "Sex" and "Fetish" things go, but I figured I'd better rate it "Teen" and put the tags on just to be safe. Oh, and the cover image comes from Asssha on DeviantArt.

This is a slightly revised version of my entry in the Jinglemas 2017 Secret Santa Story Exchange and was written in response to Pwnego's request for a story featuring Starswirl and Celestia. It's also slightly related to a story I wrote several years ago called "A Giant Leap Forward."
