Those of you who know me personally know that I like going over my works with others. I tend to be rather slow-going in actual writing because while I have the general idea of how I want a chapter to go—at least, at first—I have so many ideas to work with, and I can never seem to break it up into small little words to properly tell that part of the story. Just thought I'd make an update announcing that Hand in Hoof Chapter 11 is complete, and should be up by this coming weekend; just need to get the last kinks out with my editor and publish it.

Wrapped Chapter 6 is going swimmingly as well, and is perhaps the largest chapter of the fic to date. Fitting that it should be the climax, of all chapters.

So I decided to boot up my text editor this morning, fresh from watching the new episode and raring to get some legitimate progress finally done, and then I discover that I just lost over 4000 words for Hand in Hoof.

So now, even more than before, I have to delay Hand in Hoof Chapter 11, and try to rewrite it from scratch.

Such a shame. I actually had a lot going for this one. More of the dream sequence, some interpersonal development, and a decent fight scene.
