This story is a sequel to Moon Eyed

Hex might not be that far into his adulthood, but he's now considered old enough to go out on his own. With his father's blessings, he packs up his things and makes his way out into Equestria to see if he can find something, anything that will reverse the effect on his blind eye that was cursed 8 years ago. With his spell book in tow, an eagerness to keep leaning his craft, and the urge to heal what's been broken, he finds himself in a situation he surely wasn't prepared for.

I wasn't always Zombie Dice. Oh no, I used to be Twilight Dice. I was a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, happy mare with big hopes and dreams for the future. However, working for the biggest tourist destination in all of Equestria has turned me as hot, dark and bitter as the black coffee I drink to keep myself alive. The only thing that keeps me going are my thoughts of the trips I'm saving up for while working myself to the bone. Things aren't always as "Magical" as they seem here.

Hex Breaker is a little colt full of big dreams he has yet to unlock. One night while sitting on the roof of their Seaddle home, his father tells him the story of the Mare in the moon. Filled with adoration for the deity trapped away there, Hex begins to have nightly conversations with the moon that lead to him unlocking doors to his mother's past and his own future.
