This story is a sequel to If Chaos prevails...

Many titles are spoken before the name of Discord, King of Equestria. They are memories of the lands he conquered, of the enemies he slew, and of the many accomplishments of his thousand years of reign. He loves to hear them, one by one, as they manage to inflate his ego every single time. But there is one exception. Every time he hears the words "Saviour of Saddle Arabia", every time the royalty of that country thanks him for his deeds, he cringes. Because he knows very well that it is the only title he doesn't deserve.

This is a story that won't be found in the history books he wrote, or in the classes that are thaught in Equestria. This is a story that not even the resistance, who remembers the true history of Equestria, has ever managed to unravel. This is the story of one the many sins of the lord of Chaos, but also of one of his few regrets.

This story is a prequel to 'If Chaos prevails'. It is not necessary to read it to enjoy this one, and it is not necessary to read this to enjoy 'If Chaos prevails'. I just want to expand a bit the lore of 'If Chaos prevails', to give some more depth to the characters... And ultimately just tell an enjoyable story!

After a heated argument, Ruby Pinch, a student in the School of friendship, is sent to the School counsellor. her name is Starlight Glimmer, and she can pride herself of a perfect record. No student has ever been sent to her more than twice, and she had dealt with every problem faultlessly. She might very well be the main reason the school works as well as it does.
And yet nopony knows it. The teachers tend to take her for granted, and nopony has ever inquired on the secrets of her success.
maybe it's for the best.

That is, until Rarity gets in the picture.

Spike has gotten his wings a few months ago, and Twilight can't keep denying that her little dragon is growing up. And as embarrassed as she is at the idea, nopony else can give him "the talk".
Or at least, that's what she thinks.

One thousand years ago, the princess of Sun was defeated by Discord, who has since ruled over the entirety of Equestria. His royal advisor, Pinkie Pie, help him fighting his most terrible enemy: boredom!
With the anniversary of his reign coming soon, he has an idea to shake things up a bit.
But he is not the only one unsatisfied with the status quo. Hidden from its eyes, some ponies are ready to take action. The celebration might end up much more exciting than Discord thought, after all...

It is a little known fact that the prettiest garden in Ponyville is owned by a certain teacher... Although Cheerilee wouldn't agree. There is another one that is much more beautiful, in her opinion. And when Diamond tiara is there to help with some gardening, Cheerilee has the chance to tend to it.
