Now I know why King Sombr(a/e) looks so familiar... · 11:50am Nov 12th, 2012
It's been bugging me, but I just got it:
King Sombr(e/a) is the Fright Of The Conchords.

That's pretty cool! I feel honored now.
Today's been a good day.
Is what I'm working on right now. Just wanted to let you folks know. I haven't abandoned it or anything. See ya. :D
It's not Big Macintosh.
It's not Braeburn.
It's not Caramel, Shining Armor, Thunderlane, or Time Turner.
It's Teddy.
Now is the time to pray to your boypony god.
So, I submitted Another Wedding! to EQD, not really expecting much (if my experience with Character Development was anything to go by). But, I was pleaseantly surprised to find that the pre-reader really enjoyed the story, only suggesting a few minor fixes before it could go up. A few minor fixes later and now it is in the queue to be posted on EQD! So if there's an influx of activity on the story, that's why. Just thought you should know. Also, I've ordered a box full of hipster
Finally.
I'm currently editing it to make sure it's as good as I can get it (with the help of awesomepony Exuno) And you will most definitely be seeing it within 24 hours (depending on how long it takes to get approved).
Until then.
So my plan was to write as much as I could for NaPoWRiMo (National Pony Writing Month) last month, and I can't say I was successful.
In fact I wrote only 3 thousand-ish words total. Not only that, but I didn't get any Character Development done.
Basically, the reason is my new job. I work four (sometimes five) 10-hour shifts a week, so it's hard to find the time or energy or both many days.
But of course.
"So, where the hell have you been and where's my Character Development?"
Two-word answer: New job. It's a nice job that pays well, but it's 4 (or 5, depending) 10-hour shifts a week. Writing is something I haven't been able to get done much, since I have a ton of other priorities that I've been tending to over the last couple of weeks.
It was bound to happen eventually.
