Status Updates and National Pony Writing Month · 11:01pm Aug 1st, 2012
"So, where the hell have you been and where's my Character Development?"
Two-word answer: New job. It's a nice job that pays well, but it's 4 (or 5, depending) 10-hour shifts a week. Writing is something I haven't been able to get done much, since I have a ton of other priorities that I've been tending to over the last couple of weeks.
But that's going to change starting today, because today is the beginning of National Pony Writing Month, the annual pony-writing event hosted by EQD pre-reader Noble Cause. Have a link:

Basically, to participate you try to write as much as you can across August, with a goal of 50,000 words. I don't think I'm going to reach that goal, but being able to get a few hundred words in between shifts and a few thousand on days off should prove productive. This will include more chapters for Character Development and some short one-shot stories I've had in my head for a while. I know the point of the Month is to write one big story, but I don't want to have multiple multi-chapter stories running concurrently, and I want to get more CD done.
That's all for now.
i look forward to the incoming updates
