I had stated that this story would be published sometime last week. Obviously that didn't happen. I had been doing a little bit of re-writing and re-working on the previously finished chapter, but a bit of writer's block, life going into whiplash mode, and work has ramped up, meaning I haven't even touched Word in a week.
I'm gonna save myself the trouble and simply say I don't know when it will be published, but I doubt it'll be too long.

I hinted at this project a few blogs ago, but I gave it no name... or any specifics to speak of.
This is, indeed, a new story, and it shall be releasing here soon once I finish mulling over it to find imperfections.
This is a bit of an unconventional story for me these days, as I'm writing it solo. I'm not enlisting the help of any of my pre-readers or my editor. I'm just going to write it and publish it, just as I did in the good ol' days (literally a year ago, lol).

Also, I'd like to use this post to say that chapter 6 is coming along nicely and at a quick pace... but something else is coming along at a quick pace, something I haven't made mention of yet... basically because I just began working on it. I'll be posting another blog soon announcing what this new thing is.

So, with this publication, I have to ask a question; how many of you are reading this? This story, upon launch, did very well initially; it got featured, it got into the popular box, and it raked in 36 likes. Problem is, its now two chapters later, and all of that forward progress has basically disappeared. Has this story been uninteresting? I dont typically pose these questions, since this has never happened, so the anomaly that has become this publication is worrying.

This time, I'm not headed out on a leisurely trip or a hunt with my grandpa, this time, I'm moving. I've got my car on a trailer and all my stuff in a 10ft UHaul truck, and by sunday, I'll be in my new home state of Texas.
