What can a man want and need to be truly happy? Respect? Fame? Fortune? Freedom? A fancy car? A big mansion with a swimming pool? Lots of beautiful women?

Sombra already has it all – or at least he could, if he wanted to; being a talented architect has its advantages. And yet, deep down, he feels a void that nothing has been able to fill for many years…

This story is a tribute to Mikołaj Klimek, the Polish VA of Sombra and a few other MLP characters. He died unexpectedly on July 12, 2020, at only 48 years old.

The mall. A huge area filled with shops of all kinds. Finding the perfect birthday gift for your own sister, whom you've known your whole life, should be easy in such a place… right?

Yeah, sure. As long as your sister's name isn't Celestia.

Luckily, the mall is also a great place to have fun, even if your big sister has gone to a shop you don't like. Who knows, maybe you'll get to make a star out of her thanks to a guy you met by accident and who claims to be a part of a rock band? They all wear ripped clothes anyway, so there's nothing to worry about, right?

Yeah… sure. As long as your vice principal, feared by pretty much the entire school, doesn't suddenly materialize next to you and yell at you.

But wait. Why does she seem different than at school? Kind of… nicer? What's going on?

This was supposed to be a quick, short comedy (Pinkie Promise!), but ended up as a two-part, somewhat humorous, more than 30 pages long (in Word, at least) slice of life I've written for over a year.

Set after the main crisis of the "Legend of Everfree".

Waking up quite early in the morning, Applejack didn't think that in the Camp Everfree kitchen, she'd meet... Celestia, who couldn't sleep anymore either. While preparing the eponymous breakfast, the student and the teacher have a chat, which gives Applejack a chance to get to know her principal on a new, more personal level.

The "Alternate Universe" appears due to elements of my headcanon I put in there.

Twilight hated when her teacher did it, but couldn't talk to anypony about it. After all, who would believe her if she said that Princess Celestia – always so refined, graceful and regal – could be even worse than Twily's own mother when it came to grooming? Nopony, that's who.

Except... Cadance might actually surprise her on that one.
