Might as well also share it here... · 8:16am Feb 16th, 2019

Yesterday Archive Of Our Own celebrated International Fanworks Day 2019 and as part of it encouraged everyone to write short drabble-like stories with the theme of characters discovering new fandoms.

I also wrote a short 200-word-thing about LWA and JoJo. Nothing special. You can find it here.

This also happens to be the first thing I posted on my Ao3 account. Not sure if I should be proud of that.

Smash Ideas: Terra Branford · 12:00am Feb 15th, 2019

I've actually been planning to do this for a while, but Mythril Moth just (read: yesterday) gave me the best excuse to do this:

Also, some Final Fantasy 6 spoilers in here, though it's only things that every other Final Fantasy game assumes you already know.

Marwile watches SAO 2 Part 25 "The End (this time for real)" · 11:32pm Feb 1st, 2019

And here it is, the last episode of SAO 2. It has been a long, crazy ride. Nearly a full year with nearly weekly blogs about this trainwreck of an anime. But let's get the episode done first before I get sappy.

Marwile watches SAO (i forgot the number in the last few blogs) 2 Part 24 "Wow, just wow" · 10:56pm Jan 25th, 2019

Guess who is on Netflix. Right SAO. But let's ignore bad corporate decisions and focus on the already second-to-last episode, which was -surprisingly enough- really good in my opinion.

Marwile watches SAO Part 23 "Yuuki's Backstory" · 11:16pm Jan 18th, 2019

Wow, I'm starting to realize that we're reaching the end of SAO and therefore the end of these blogs. No idea what I'll do then. This episode has a surprising amount of world building.

Asuna is trying to get into contact with Yuuki after her weird departure, but nothing works. Finally she asks Kirito for help (why is he still here) and he just knows the exact place where she has to go.

Marwile watches SAO Part 22 "Not much to describe" · 11:02pm Jan 11th, 2019

I think this one will go over pretty quick considering it's action for a big part. Which is good because I'm watching the season 1 finale of Rosario+Vampire while typing this. So let's get this done! Also Shirayuki best girl!

We start exactly where we left off, so Goddammit Kirito.
Yeah, he jumps into to help the Knights and takes on literally half of the opponent's army. Klein is also there and... helpful off-screen.

Marwile watches SAO Part 21 "The Sleeping Knights" · 11:17pm Jan 4th, 2019

And here we have the first SAO episode of the year. Somehow I didn't realize how long this would go when I started these reviews/reaction blogs. Though it feels weird starting to type this without having anything bad to say about the episode... This might be the first time actually...

Happy New Year 2019 · 12:06am Jan 1st, 2019

Happy New Year Everybody!
At least here in Europe it's already new year...
2018 was... pretty stressful for me. More college, more work, my sister now has a dog. So I'm hoping 2019 will be a better year for me and that I'll manage to do a bit more on this site again. Though at least I'm making somewhat regular posts now, so there's that.
Anyway, again I wish you a happy new year 2019!

Marwile watches SAO 2 Part 20 "Total Quality Whiplash" · 11:06pm Dec 21st, 2018

Seriously, what happened with this anime? I know I wasn't able to pay that much attention last week, but when did I miss the moment this became good? I always knew removing Kirito would improve this anime, but this much that fast?
