It has occurred to me that driving off those who are more conservative, like me and Realitycheck, is the whole point of the shenanigans that the mods are pulling on RC's newest short "Yes, It Matters." As such, I will not be sounding retreat, but will be sticking around and putting up stories when I write them, if for no other reason that preventing the mods from declaring victory.
