I'll be attending DragonCon in September and I decided to do a pony cosplay this time! My mom and I finally made some headway this weekend with my costume, and I thought I'd share. I'll be going as Sunset Shimmer.

I chose Sunset Shimmer for a couple reasons.
1. She's awesome.
2. Her clothes are simple to buy/make.

Okay, so that's four of the Fellowship down!

Dwarf ponies are short and stocky, and have long shaggy coats, manes, and tails compared to the other races of Middle Earth. Unicorn dwarves have short horns that are slightly curved. Once all the major characters are done I might make a couple of background unicorns and pegasi into dwarves just so I can show their physical traits compared to unicorns and pegasi of the other races.

FINALLY the second Pony of the Rings drawing is done! It started with Twilight as Frodo and now we're moving on through the rest of the Fellowship, with RD as Merry and Pinkie as Pippin. RD looks so happy to finally have some cider after a long night of running from Ringwraiths!
