Once, Fluttershy was a humble citizen of Ponyville, one with a kind heart and a love for animals. However, that changed when Iron Will came into town. Her submissive and timid personality changed and soon she was asserting her will over everypony else. After insulting her friends, she realized what she had become. Fearing what she might do next, she left Ponyville for good.

Her luck changed when she came across a nice little village, one where everypony was Equal.

One year of a pleasant life in this town later, she writes to her old friend, Twilight Sparkle, asking her to visit.

This is a complete overhaul of my previous attempt at this universe.

The Alicorn Sisters have ruled over their nations for centuries. The Kingdom of the Sun and the Kingdom of the Moon have been gifted peace ever since the defeat of Discord.

But trouble is brewing on the horizon. They know that peace cannot last forever. It was time to bring the Elements of Harmony to their full potential.

Celestia sends her prized student Twilight Sparkle to Ponyville for the Summer Sun Celebration, as Luna finds a new task for her archmage Starlight Glimmer...

It was the best and worst day of Fluttershy's life.

It was the worst day of her life, because she fell out of the sky. She hit the ground, broke her back and lost a wing. She would never be able to fly, nor walk without assistance again.

It was the best day of her life because she met Ditzy Doo, an optimistic (if a bit strange) filly that brightened everything up with her presence.

This is their story.

Wob Niar is a changeling, split off from the hive and possessing the memories of the late Rainbow Dash. She wants to find her own identity, her own life.

Fluttershy is a Pegasus, recovering after the loss of her closest and dearest friend. But she had been hiding a secret from her, from all of her friends: She likes mares, and had a small crush on Rainbow Dash for a very long time.

These two will fall in love, of course. But they'll need to keep it a secret from their friends, especially an increasingly paranoid Pinkie Pie...

Rainbow Dash dies.

Then, our story begins.

In the body of a changeling, and with help from the Knights of Harmony, she must come to terms with her new identity as well as this strange world so similar, yet very different, from her own.

After all, there may not be a way back.
