2) To my best friend and editor-in-chief, Recursive, who keeps my stories (mostly) free of grammatical and spelling errors, and isn't shy to call me out on any glaring plot holes (don't) that need fixing. If my stories don't get enough love now, they would have been surely downvoted into oblivion if not for him!

Rocket Blaze - that's me (or rather, my ponysona) - is a citizen of Las Pegasus. He grew up fascinated with math and science, though with a touch of inspiration is capable of expressing his more artistic side as well. Because of his interests, he was made fun of by the other pegasi for being a unicorn at heart, and not particularly athletic or inclined towards climbing the social hierarchy so ingrained in the pegasus culture.

But Rocket Blaze never gave up on his dreams. After years of a joyless career as a weather pony, he discovered his true calling as an engineer, and now launches high-altitude sounding rockets for Canterlot Academy's Space Studies Department.

Here are some random facts you should know about Rocket Blaze!

- His cutie mark is a rocket, which he received following an incident that involved combining highly volatile and explosive substances with an empty can of beans.

- His mane is long, bushy, and striped with yellow and crimson - not completely unlike rocket exhaust.

- He is timid by nature, though very sociable when he's surrounded by ponies he gets along with. Particularly his best friend, Recursive, and special somepony, Blue Belle.

- He enjoys the opportunities his work affords him to carry out his research in the Equestrian wilds, far away from the big city and all of its distractions.

- He idolizes the Wonderbolts, Rainbow Dash, and Princess Luna.

- His biggest fears are spiders, changelings, and the Everfree forest.
