Based in the universe of Calm Wind's Wonderverse stories:

A man who has spent his whole life around planes gets a chance to fly an experimental plane in front of his friends and future wife, his family are neglectful and do not approve of his career. His task is to fly into extreme conditions to test the aircraft. When a perfect storm becomes too much for the plane, he crashes. One he next wakes up, he finds himself as the foal of Soarin and Rainbow Dash, whom they name Tornado Blitz.

Now Tornado wants to get back anyway he can and hears the tale of a rift that opens in Equestria every so often. But as he spends time with his new family and grows attached to them, what will be his choice?

Stay with his new parents in Equestria, or try to fly into the rift with the slim chance of getting home.

"If this foal can unlock his power without help, we should expect him to be more powerful than an average child, possibly more powerful than the average unicorn... he will be a danger to himself and to the city"

Each year the unicorns and nobles of Djeeneigh gather to expel those they believe are beggars, urchins and miscreants. Masters of the disciplines of magic, they know no pony can oppose them, but their protective spells are not as strong as they once thought.

What was the deity that decided that this would be his new fate? All he knows for sure is his new name, Mythic Light and he is the son of Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria

Set after the events of Twilights Kingdom, Princess Celestia found a special stallion to be with however they were taken by forces beyond either of their control, but after his death Celestia realised that she is now carrying his foal. Months later she gives birth to a Alicorn prince that she swears she will protect with every fibre of her being.
