Twilight lifts a pebble with her magic. Really, that's pretty much it. I just wanted to see if I could do a whole story based on a 1-second action.

In the wake of the recent events in Equestria, Twilight pushes herself to become a more powerful spellcaster. She can feel something has changed, something has awoken. Something that may be beyond her control. With shadows from her past coming back to haunt her, and an unseen foe creating an army, will she be able to find the strength to defend not only her, but those she cares for?
