Some of you might actually have taken time to question some crazy fact of my existence here on FiMFiction. Yep, that's right. I am not a brony.

Then you might say:

"But Touch, you are writing MLP *stressed* fiction on an MLP *stressed once again* website! You can't do that and say you aren't a brony!"

Well, truth of the matter is this: I have never actually watched the show. I tried, but it just bored me.

At this point you might be wondering something along the lines of "Well that's just some bull right there, Touch. How in the hell do you about the characters/places/things in MLP if you never watched the show?"

I am not going to lie to you about this. Some info (locations, character's physical traits) I gathered off of the one parody I have ever watched of the show (Mentally Advanced) and other random things scattered on the internet. But most of my information has come from brony friends willing to help me out.

So that leads to one more question: If I didn't watch the show, and I started off knowing almost nothing about it, then why write fiction on it?

Well, there is one thing that attracts me to the MLP universe: its premise. It's a magical land where so much crazy stuff happens that almost nothing is out of bounds. As a dark/fantasy writer, what could be any more appealing than a place where most laws of logic don't seem to exist? Practically nothing. So, I decided to learn as much as I could about the show, and just went off on my own tangent, exploring the heights of my creativity and searching the deepest, darkest recesses of my mind.

That's all I really have to say on this subject, so until my next chapter on whatever story I decide to do, peace!
