I have returned from Branson, and will soon begin serious work on the final chapter. Had a lot of fun down there, and I'm not even the kind-of person to have fun. Enthusiasm and I aren't on speaking terms. And the people down there are so nice. If any of you get the chance, I'd recommend going down there. Other than my failing to react sufficiently to a beautiful southern belle walking up to and talking to me without me doing anything, it was great.

So a quick blog post. I'm supposed, and probably going, to finish this chapter today. I was working hard on it last night to finish it. But now I've only got two of my sections left, one of which is nearly done and I should finish here in a bit. However, today is the day that my school marching band goes down to Branson, Missouri... So I've been working on Who We Really Are for about three days now and we're already at 5,014 words. 3,900 ish of which I wrote yesterday. Though I do worry slightly. This is an extremely significant chapter, and at the current word count none of those significant parts have yet occurred. Which means that this'll likely be another long chapter like Prism To The Soul was. Honestly, the contents of this chapter and the next should really be spread out over about 5 chapters, not two.

So I finally came up with a name for the third story in the series. Long story short, I got exhausted from writing (over 1,000 words today) and got bored, so I drew! This is the result. The concept cover for Broken Feathers: Desert Storm:

So this next chapter, Prism to the Soul is going to be very long. I don't know if you guys keep track or not, but I update the word count on my user page at the end of every writing night. Currently, we're at 4,552 words. Which I feel is quite impressive considering I've only been writing today and yesterday, even during school. And frankly, there's going to be a lot more where that came from. I've only got 2, count them TWO out of 7 sections done in this chapter.

Okay, here's a situation report for you guys. I've been making some pretty fantastic part. I began at about 7:30 this morning, and it's 2:45 now. During school, mind you. And I've managed to write 1,345 words. Now, there's about 5-6 "Sub Parts" to this chapter, and those 1300 words are just a PART of the first SUBPART. So do some math. 1300 x 5 = 6500.
