Side story to Circuitry I wrote for the fun of it. Takes place some time before that one.

I am Equestria's first sentient automaton. Electricity pulses through my wires, and logic gates dictate the threading of my thoughts. For some of the others, this difference appears to be too great to overcome. My only friends in life are my creator, her lab assistant, and a stuffed doll from a young foal.

I'm so lonely...why can't they see that?

Our heroes (Famosity, Quill Weave, Show Off and Snap Shot) have been sent to aid the troops on the Eastern border of Equestria. While the thick mud threatens to drag down their spirits, Quill's hopes are buoyed by the thought of finally being with his marefriend again. But when the eager lieutenant begins to go stir crazy for the love of his girl, his actions put the lives of his friends in jeopardy.

After a miraculous escape from the charred remains of Fort A, the four ponies responsible for the evacuation are to be rewarded for their courage. Show Off does his best to keep the other ponies in check, but his own ambitions may land him on the receiving end of the wrath of his CO, the Royal Guard, and perhaps even a certain alicorn. Through it all, our heroes learn to trust, respect, and maybe even love each other. Even in war, friendship truly is magic.

When news from Appleoosa is nearly five days overdue, Celestia sends word to Twilight to be on guard for strange events. Little does she know that the dangers that have befallen the tiny settlement are advancing upon Ponyville.

Now, Celestia and Luna find themselves battling the log-jammed court about the appropriate response. Can a peaceful solution be found? And more importantly: Can that aid reach the small town in time?

This is a collection of poems I wrote in a creative writing class last semester. For fun, I decided to us ponies as my inspiration for the entire poetry section, then told my teacher at the end of the class.

I know it's not 'fiction' per se, but it is pony-inspired writing.
