Johnny gets teleported to equestria, and somehow has a new fun toy to play with. and suddenly sees the world, in another perspective. as he now controls the world, using his new toy. will he use his new toy for good or evil?
Johnny is an avarage 24 year old male he enjoys mlp, but is a closet brony. suddenly while working one day, he starts to fall backwards on his chair, as if the chairs back was missing. suddenly he falls of his chair into nothing, instead of the hard office floor, instead he keeps faling as the chair fades from view, until he sees a beautiful blue sky above him. he starts to get up, but something feels wrong on his left arm, he looks down, at a small screen and keyboard, the screen simply reads "LUA(): ".
the chapters, will over time, increase in length, maybe, it will not dip below 1000 words pr chapter, as thats the limit i have set for myself.
also applejacks lines are written like any other pony, since im not good at adding an accent to text, so just read in in her voice, and you will be fine.(will work on it, and might rewrite it with proper accents, but thats later at some point, maybe)
This was made, because I had an idea, simple as that. It might also help bronies/general readers learn how easy lua coding is, and some of its uses, by reading about the effects of it in this story. Of course, this is not real lua coding, however, the effects would be the same, if the lua API’s was built up the same way.
So here’s the background info. Our main character is a human, from earth, his name is Johnny Shart. He enjoys to program, as it’s his job to do it, and his favorite language is LUA. He is a brony, though he won’t admit it. In the story, the lua API, is VERY simple, as it’s what makes the most sense, such as if he wants to edit Twilight, he simply starts it with TwilightSparkle. And then the command. For instance if she is falling from a cliff, and for some reason can’t use her wings. You could use TwilightSparkle.Gravity(100), gravity, to set the gravity of Twilight and 100 to set the gravity to 100, where default in my story is 800. So the commands will always make sense.however not all commands work as they are supposed, such as PinkiePie.Debug(physics), simply because trying to understand pinkie, will simply return true. As she has physics, but no one can ever understand them. He will have a debug function, however it will not work on pinkie, not all the time. For instance, he can use PinkiePie.debug(location), to find out where she is, of course as map coordinates. And he can then use Location.placeWaypoint(location of pinkie) to place a waypoint, that only he can see. So he is somewhat overpowered, however, he cannot make himself immortal(me.properties(hp,-1/infinite)) because that would be absurd, alicorns are immortal, but thats because they are, the HP, -1 will not give immortality, but will give an insane ammount of hp, the hp regen is just as anything else, he can edit it to have a much higher rate, so he will heal faster, however he will not be immortal because of it. At the end of each chapter, If you want to, I will explain any new commands that are used in the story.
Now that I have explained some of this, I hope you will enjoy the story, and feel free to make spinoff stories, and use any OC I put in here, if I use one of your OC’s and you don’t like it, or I forget to give credits, please feel free to contact, or comment. Constructive criticism is welcome, however hate is not welcome, but allowed.

I yawned as I got up from my bed, still very sleepy, due to having worked on my newest program all night, I made my way to the bathroom, to wash my face and get ready for work.
“Today might be the day” I said to myself in the mirror. “Today I just might get that raise, the program is working as it should, it has all the features they wanted, and even a few they did not ask for.” I walked in to my room, got some clothes on, and started eating breakfast, all while hoping I would get that raise, as it would mean, I was only one step away from a better place in the company, lead programmer, the title I was always hunting for, ever since I began programming.
“Hey you up yet!?” I heard from the door to my room, I live with my friend Jack, who is in the design department of our company, he is not the smartest in the world, but his ideas for interface and general looks of our programs really look great. His designing skills are far above me, where I usually prefer practicality over visuals.
“Yeah, just getting ready, might get that raise today” I half shouted back.
“Right, that’s today, I completely forgot, good luck man, I’m gonna leave early to meet up with Rebecca”
“Alright, how is it between you two anyway?”
“It's going well, we found out we like many of the same things”
“That’s not what I meant, and you know it, are you getting together?”
“Well, so far it seems like we both are a couple already, but I’m just too afraid to ask her, and be turned down, you know?”
“yeah, well one of you have to say it, maybe she is waiting for you to say it” as I exited the door to my room, and headed to the kitchen
“just think about it, what if all she is waiting for is, that you tell her you love her?” as I began to butter my bread
“Yeah, I know, but I’m just too scared of her declining me” I looked at him and saw his sadness, since it what had happened all the other times he had told someone he loved them.
“Well, I have an idea, she will be at the meeting today in my area, I could ask her how she feels about you, I mean I would not be so obvious I'm asking for you, it could just be because you refuse to tell me”
He looked at me, with somewhat pleading eyes “will you?”
“Of course, I mean we are friends, and we live in the same house, so why not?”
“Thank you, really.” He said, as he started to hug me. Me not being a complete idiot, hugged him back, as well as looked at the clock
“Oh shit, we have to move, or we are going to be late” I said, as I hurried drinking my juice, and eating my bread.
“Ok, I’ll start the car, don’t forget your computer and other things”
“Right, I’ll be out in less than two minutes” I said, hurrying to my room, grabbed my computer, and my wrist worn PDA. And hurried out the door, locking it behind me, and making sure it was locked, and got in the car.
I managed to get to my cubicle in time, setting up my computer, and putting my PDA on my left arm. Quickly booting it up, and starting up the different programs I used.
“Ah good, you made it” I looked at the entrance and saw my boss. He is one of the most friendly people I know, if a program was not done in time, he would sometimes call or client, telling them we had a few bugs, which where only just found, and that we needed some extra time to finish it properly, and got as much as he could, never really beating down on someone if they were a little late.
“Of course I am, today is the day I might be getting a raise” I said, smiling at him
“That’s true, but remember, they have to compliment the software, and can only find 2 bugs, if there are more, then you will have to wait with the raise until next time you make a program” he said, smiling at me
“yeah, but I worked hard on this one, even added in a few extra features for them, so they can have it the way they want it” I said, showing him how they could customize colors in the program, and how I even added their logo to the top right.
“That’s good. I think they are going to like it, but it's up to them so get to the meeting room and set up, and I will get them up, and get some coffee”
“You got it boss” I said, smiling and heading to the meeting room. Where Rebecca was already there, setting up the projector and making sure the desk was clean.
“Hi Johnny, ready for the big reveal?” she said, looking at me with a playful smile.
“Of course I am or at least as ready as I can be” I replied, smiling back.
“Good, by the way, I have to ask you something”
“What is your question?” I asked, setting up my equipment
“It's about Jack, is he talking about me when he is at home?” she asked.
“Hmm, he talks about you, yes, and he is so far only saying positive things, about how much he likes you”
“Ok, good, great”
“Why? Is there something you want to say to him?”
“Oh, no nothing really” she said, blushing a bit and looking away.
“Well, I know he really wants to say something to you, but is afraid you might say no”
“Really?” she asked, looking directly at me
“Yes, he even asked me to ask you, how you feel about him, guess you did it first”
“Wow, so that’s why, I have just been waiting for him to tell me” she said, continuing to mess with the placement of the chairs
“Well, now you know, and once we are off, I will tell him the same”
“No Need, I'm gonna ask him out on a date tonight”
“Okay, where to if I might ask?” I asked looking at her.
“I'm taking him to the Italian restaurant, just around the corner”
“Okay, that’s a really good place, with good food, I think he is going to like it”
“I know I'm going to ask him as soon as I'm done here”
“Alright what are you waiting for, I can handle the rest”
“Are you sure?” she looked at me.
“Of course I am, just remember to text me when you are on your way home”
“Will do” she said, as she left the room. Shortly after she left, the coffee arrived, and my boss was just behind it.
“Okay, here we are, gentlemen if you just take a seat, this is the programmer who made the program, he will show the program to you, and then you will be given about half an hour to mess with it, on our demo computers”
“Hello and welcome” I said, waving at them with a small smile.
“I hope you enjoy the program, and consider us again, if you need another custom program” I said, as I left them to try out the program.
“Is it going good in there?” my boss asked.
“I think so, they were very pleased with the programs functions, and seemed to like the color changing parts of it as well” I said, taking some water.
“So now we just need them to mess around with it for a while and then we know if you got that raise, until then you can return to your cubicle, I will get you when they are done”
I nodded and left for my cubicle. As I sat down, I felt weird, like I was lighter that I was supposed to be, or gravity was turned down, but shrugged it off as me being nervous. I sat down, looked at my computer, and started to think, what if they did not like it, but just seemed pleased to not be rude. What if they hated it? What if I had not found all bugs? What if something went wrong? I leaned back in my chair, only to keep falling back, and then slide of my chair into nothing, not hitting the floor of the office, or anything, just looking up as my chair slowly faded from view. Just after my chair had disappeared completely, I hit something soft, grass. And the nothing was replaced with a beautiful blue sky.
I was just lying there, looking up at the blue sky. Never in my life had I seen such a colorful sky, except in anime and other shows on TV. Though this one reminded me mostly of the sky from My Little Pony, however I could not be sure, unless I got up. I started by looking upwards, to see what was above me, and I was now staring at a forest, which also looked familiar, again from MLP.
“Damn, what the hell happened?” I asked myself. As I got up, looking around, I saw a small village, this was the final nail in the coffin, I was now certain because it was looking so much like MLP that it had to be it. The first thing I noticed was the building just ahead, which looked very familiar, it was the Sugarcube Corner, or to be more exact, the roof of the place. I kept looking around and located Twilights Library Tree house thingy, or what was left of it.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it, I'm in Equestria, I have to be, everything looks as in the show, I can see Sugarcube corner, Twilight’s tree, the town hall, I can even see Canterlot in the distance” I almost shouted to myself, in excitement. I then heard a timid voice behind me.
“I-is anyone there?”
I instantly looked behind me, and of course I saw Fluttershy, who else could it be?
“…is, I mean it does not look like an animal we have seen before, and none of my books have any info on it” I heard twilight say, as I slowly woke up again. I must have passed out, I thought to myself, maybe the realization I was in Equestria was too much for my brain?
“Shh, it looks like it's waking up” I heard what sounded like Rarity, but I was not sure, until I opened up my eyes, and saw the mane six standing around me, keeping their distance.
“Where am I?” I asked, looking around, I knew where I was, since it looked very much like the inside of Fluttershy’s Cottage, but needed confirmation.
“Hello, you are in Equestria, Ponyville to be exact” Twilight said, looking at me, with a mixture of interest, and confusion.
“Okay, good to know, so I was correct in my assumption” I said, rubbing my head, since I had gotten a headache, that’s when I noticed something was wrong. On my left arm was no longer my PDA, but instead something looking like a wrist worn Computer from one of the call of duty games, but this one had a full QWERTY keyboard underneath it, wrapping around my arm looking like it was a clear wrapper, with black keys on it. I started to examine it, looking around on it, to find out what it was, all sides where a simple mat black finish, with no I/O ports to see, no connectors of any kind, no way for it to be attached either. The screen had a dim glow and only stated “LUA():” looking like a lua interface to test commands with, I decided to leave it be for the time being, and focusing on the ponies around me.
“Okay, I think an introduction is in order” I looked around on each of them “my Name is Johnny, I'm a human from another world, or maybe just another planet, I'm not sure” I said, as calmly as I could.
“Hello Johnny, my name is Twilight Sparkle” Twilight said, pointing at herself, with her hoof.
“Howdy, names Applejack” applejack spoke up, tilting her hat.
“Hello, my name is Rarity” Rarity said, looking like she took a small bow.
“My name is Rainbow Dash, Fastest flier in Equestria” Rainbow Dash said, hovering slightly above the ground, before landing.
“I'm, Fluttershy…” Fluttershy quietly said.
“HI!” Pinkie pie shouted in my ear, or at least it sounded that way, she was still standing a good meter or so away. “My name is Pinkie Pie” she then said, in a more quiet voice, but still very loud.
“Okay, now that the introduction is out of the way, how should we start this?” I asked them, looking around. “More specifically, why are you all so far away? Are you scared of me?” I asked.
“Well, not scared per se” Rarity spoke up. “It's just, we have never seen anything like you before, and did not know if you were friendly or hostile”
“Good point, I would most likely have done the same if I were in your shoes” I said.
“Shoes? You mean like horse shoes?” Twilight asked. Of course, they don’t know of me, so how should they know of my clothes.
“Right, forgot, not the same species” I said, before getting cut off by Rarity.
“Are shoes, like the things on your hind legs? Like we have horse shoes?” she asked.
“Exactly, though they are not hind legs, they are just my legs, like these” I moved my arms around “Are my arms, and at the end of them, are my hands” I said, flexing my fingers.
“Interesting, would you mind if I take notes?” Twilight said, seeming very fascinated by my appendages.
“don’t mind at all, as long as you are okay with answering a few questions after I'm done explaining how I work, or most of it” I replied, since I already knew most of them, I only wanted to confirm a few things, to find out where in the storyline I was at, and if this was even following the story at all. Twilight’s horn started to glow, until there was a small flash of light, and she was now hovering a piece of paper, and a pen in her magic. Already noting down what I had said so far.
After about an hour of talking back and forth, we each all learned something, and they had many questions, like why I was looking like I did, how my world or planet was, what my species fashion was like, and a few more. I in the meantime learned that this was just after the season 3 finale, I also learned that Twilight had already sent a message to Celestia, who were on her way to see what I was, and possibly figure out what my intentions where.
“So, I have been meaning to ask you for a short while now” Twilight said, looking very interested in my arm. ”What is that thing on your arm?”
“I don’t know, before I arrived here, it was my PDA” I said, looking at her.
“PDA? She asked, seeming a bit confused.
“Right, forgot your technology level might not be the same as my world, it's a Personal Data Assistant, it helps organize my work, keep track on my calendar, notes, even had some games if I was bored”
“OH, like Tennis? Or basketball?” Pinkie asked.
“Not quite, only smaller games, not quite that scale, since it was limited to the screen space, which was about half the size of this thing” I pointed at the computer on my arm. “But I have no clue what this is, so for the time being, I'm going to leave it alone, until I'm in a safe place to interact with it”
“I have a place you can use, I use it to test out spells, and it's very safe too since it's a pocket dimension” Twilight said, with a glint in her eyes.
“I would like that, but let’s wait until your ruler gets here, and decides what to do” and as if waiting outside the door for someone to talk about her, she knocked on the front door.
“Come on in” Fluttershy said, with a low voice, and in entered Celestia, and 4 guards.
I was now lying on the floor, 2 Royal Guards on top of me, holding me down.
“Hey, what gives? I was just talking with them, they can even confirm it” I said, in as calmly a manor as someone who had just been put down could.
“It's true princess, in fact he seems quite harmless, and cooperative” Twilight said, slowly approaching Celestia.
“Oh, is this true?” Celestia asked looking around, seeing Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and most importantly Applejack, nod in agreement.
“Well, if I was as much a threat as you might think, don’t you think they would contain me in some bubble, or something” I asked with a hint of sarcasm, as the guards got off of me, and I was able to stand up again.
“I am truly sorry for this, but there is no need to be rude” Celestia said, sounding like she was using sarcasm, and slowly showing a smile.
“I think I have the right to be a bit rude, considering I was attacked with no good reason, other than I'm a new thing in this world”
“You do have a good point, and seem to be more intelligent that what usually comes out of the Everfree forest”
“I do have a small request, if you don’t mind, princess”
“And what is that?”
“That I get to stay here, at least for now, I have this thing” I said pointing to the computer “That I don’t know what is, it was attached to my arm, when I arrived here, and I would like to test it out, with the help of Twilight, since she seems just as interested in it as I am”
“I will allow it, but only if Twilight agrees…”
“YES!” Twilight shouted, in excitement “I mean I would not mind helping him figure out what the thing is, and I will take responsibility for whatever happens”
“I guess we have our answer on Twilights part” I said, chuckling.
“I guess so” Celestia said, with a smile.
“So we have a deal, but where will I sleep?” I asked.
“You can sleep in my barn, it's not the best during winter, but during summer it's a great place to sleep” Applejack said.
“Thank you, I will accept your offer, and if possible, I’ll even help you out on your farm, so now that’s been taken care of” I said looking towards Celestia “I guess, I’ll see you some more, since you most likely will like to keep an eye on me, at least for now” Celestia blushed a bit
“How could you tell?” Celestia asked, sounding a bit confused.
“Since you said I was the first thing to appear with such intelligence from the Everfree forest, I just though what would I do if that happened” I said, looking at her.
“very well, now it's getting late, so I better get back to Canterlot and lower the sun, so we can all get some sleep” Celestia said, turning to leave.
“I better show you the way to my farm” Applejack said, starting to head out the door.
“Just a second” I said, looking at Twilight “when I wake up tomorrow, will it be okay, for me to come see you, I want to figure this thing out as soon as possible”
“Of course it is, I mean, you said you had never seen it before, so it might be dangerous, but so far I have yet to pick up anything from it, so I think it only does things when it's interacted with” she said, a hint of excitement in her voice.
“Okay, now that’s been done, I wish you all a very good night, and I’ll see you tomorrow” I said, before heading out the door, towards Applejack.
“So you are an omnivore?” Applejack asked with a hint of fear in her voice.
“Yes, but I don’t eat ponies, if that’s what you are afraid of” I said, trying to calm her down.
“I sure hope not, otherwise I would have to keep you in chains out in the barn” she said, with as much sarcasm as she could.
“Yeah I guess so”
“So, what else is there special about you?” she asked.
“Not really that much, I'm an average human, not particularly strong, or athletic in my own world”
“I can think of one thing that’s special about you”
“And what is that?”
“I believe you are the first human, to ever set foot in Equestria, but don’t quote me on that”
“Well, I guess there is that too”
The next day, I woke up early, due to the apple family’s schedule, and the fact, I was in the barn, where they keep all the buckets for bucking apples, so I got to meet Big Macintosh. And contrary to what the show has shown us, he is a very talkative fella, if you ask the right questions, and they interest him.
“It was nice talking to you, I think I will head inside, and see what you have that I can eat, besides apples”
“You too, might see you later today” Big Mac said, as he left the barn.
“I think so, since this is my temporary home” I said, as I left for the house. I was introduced yesterday, and as far as granny Smith was concerned, I was already family, same with Applebloom, she even asked if she could call me big brother, and who can say no to such a cute little filly?
“Good morning Johnny, sleep well?” Applebloom asked as I got in the door.
“I slept as well as I can, so I suppose I slept well” I said, sitting down at the table.
“That’s good, so what are your plans for today?” Applebloom asked.
“well, I have to find out what this thing is” I said, shaking my left arm” so I will be heading towards Twilight as soon as I have eaten, hopefully it won't take too long, and I can start to see what the town has to offer” I said, taking a few pancakes onto my plate, and started to eat them.
“Aww, I was hoping I could introduce you to Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle” she said, with a sad expression
“Well, maybe after I find out what this thing is, and how it works, I would hate to say hello to them, and somehow end up hurting them because I have no clue what it can do” I said, finishing up my pancakes.
“Okay, but as soon as you have found that out, you will come back right?”
“Of course, who can say no to such a cute little filly?” I said, before, putting my plate, in the sink, and heading for the door.
“Need help finding Twilight?” Applejack asked.
“Now that you mention it, I have never been at her before so would you like to accompany me, since I don’t know how the town would react to me, or where to find twilights place.”
“Alright, let’s go then”
As we went towards the town, a few ponies turned their heads, but none of them panicked, I'm guessing it's because I was walking with Applejack, or maybe because the town had already seen so much weird stuff. I did not take long to arrive at Twilights house, as I was looking at it, I'm saw the door open, and Twilight came out, almost bouncing in excitement.
“Good morning Johnny, ready to do some experimenting?” she asked, with a happy tone.
“I guess so, otherwise how will I ever find out what this thing is?”
“Okay then let’s go, you want to come with us Applejack?” Twilight asked, looking at Applejack.
“No thanks, I need to do some shopping before I head back home to help Big Mac” she said, turning around.
“I’ll see you later” I said, waving at her as she left.
“Now then, let’s head to my special training room, so we can see what that thing is, and what it can do” Twilight said, waking inside, with me following her.
“So this is your house?” I asked, looking at the shelves filled with books.
“Yes it is, I live in a library, since it was the only place I could get with such short notice, follow me to my training room” she said, moving towards her basement door.
“So why is this training room so special?” I asked, before she opened the door.
“Because it's in the void” she said, opening the door.
“Void? As in a place that does not really exist?”
“Yes, it's the perfect place to test out spells, if something goes wrong, I can simply switch to a different void, and the spell can’t get here anymore”
“So no matter what I do, it cannot get back to Equestria?”
“In theory, no, and so far I haven’t had any problems” we were now inside a bright room, with nothing in it, other than a floor of some kind, and I assume it had four walls and a roof, but I could not see it anywhere.
“This place is huge” I said, slowly looking around.
“No, it just seems huge, because I made it that way, now, let’s get back on track, I have raised a barrier between us, so I'm ready to document whatever we find” Twilight said, pen and paper held in her magic.
“ok, let’s start of with the common choice” I said, pressing the F1 key on the keyboard, oddly I could not feel it being pressed, even though it was see through to my skin.
“Did anything happen?” Twilight asked, looking around, trying to get a better look.
“Yes” I said back, reading that the screen now said more than it did before. “Now it's saying help menu at the top, with a few choices I can make” I started to list them, as it looked like an old dos system, indicating you press a number and hit enter, and you will see the help menu it refers too, it listed:
1.Basic Info. 2.Common Commands. 3.Creating custom commands. 4.Next help page.
“Okay, I have written them down, try pressing the first one” Twilight said, looking back up at me.
“Here goes” I said back, hitting 1 and then enter. I then started to read what it displayed to Twilight.
“The Editor™ is the latest in reality editing technology, it uses simple, and easy to understand LUA coding, to alter the world, to the users will, the latest version is equipped with a flawless internet connection, for browsing the web at any time, with a 10 Gbps speed for smooth internet, and a built in mp3 player, with 4 Terabytes worth of storage, dedicated to it. It also features the latest in DNA storage technology, to make sure you don’t run out of space while on the move. Press ESCAPE to return to help menu”
“Sounds interesting, but I don’t understand many of those words, do you?” Twilight asked.
“Yes I do, it sounds like a regular computer, but meant only for LUA coding, and with more space than anyone would ever need, and it even has the still experimental DNA storage system”
“What is that last thing, DNA storage system?”
“It's a way we found out, that our DNA is basically storage, and that we can alter it, to store data if we need it, but in my world, it's still experimental, and very expensive”
“So what can it store?”
“Anything, Books, Games, Videos, even music if I didn’t have 4 Terabytes for that already”
“Ok, now what is a Terabyte?”
“It's a way to determine storage, does Equestria have computers?”
“Yes, the latest is with a 4 MHz core and 128 Kilobyte storage”
“Well, as far as storage, this one has the equivalent of more than thirty millions of your computers”
“OH. MY. GOD!” Twilight screamed “So much space in such a small size! It's impossible by our standards!”
“As far as I can tell, technologically, you are about thirty years behind my world, it's specs sound similar to a very old computer we had, I think it was called a commodore 128” I said, thinking back to my childhood, messing with one my dad had in the basement.
“THIRTY YEARS!?” she looked like she was about to have a meltdown. It was looking kind of funny, seeing her, eyes looking everywhere, mouth opening and closing, hooves shifting around.
“Easy now, I’ll explain our technology later, but for now, let’s continue with this, I'm interested in the commands it has, and how much it can do”
“B-b-but thirty years?”
“Yes, in round numbers, but the sooner we get this done, I will tell you what I know, we might be able to get the technology pushed forward a few years”
“Okay, I’ll just go to the toilet, you can stay here, and look at it, examine it, just don’t touch anything on it until I get back”
“I can’t make any promises, I might look around in the help menu”
“Okay, but don’t do anything else” she said, while closing the door.
“Time to see what commands I can do with this thing” I said to myself. Hitting two and enter. I began reading the commands.
Common commands: The Object.Create command: The Object.Create command allows the user to create any object they can visualize in their head, and know a name of, for instance if the user want a cupcake, the user has to imagine the cupcake, as the user types in the name, an example of the command is: Object.Create(cupcake); The object will appear in front of the user, suspended at eye level, until the user interacts with it, or 2 minutes pass.
The Object.Properties command: The Object.Properties command allows the user to edit properties of objects, these properties are limited, but custom properties can be created, an example of the command is: Object.properties.invisible(1/0);
The Bubble.Create command: The Bubble.Create command, allows the user, to create a bubble around the user in a specified size, with a specified amount of damage it can take, before disappearing. The bubble can also be used to highlight an area, to interact with, and example of the command is: Bubble.Create(5(size in meters, from center to bubble),20(damage it can absorb)) = Bubble.Create(5,20);
These are the most basic commands, more exist, but are rarely used, but can be found on page 2 of the help pages.
“Hmm, invisible sounds very interesting, sorry Twilight, but I have to try this” I said, as I exited the help screen, and started typing Object.invisible(1); in the editor, however it came up with an error.
“Of course, I have to define the object, let’s see” I entered Me.Invisible(1); and this time it worked. I was now invisible, though if you looked hard enough, you could see me, as a very faint outline of myself.
“This is going to be fun, now to play the waiting game” I said, as I walked over and sat down next to the door.
After waiting for about 25 minutes, twilight made it back, and of course the first thing she did was to call my name.
“Johnny? Johnny where are you?” she asked, but I did not give a reply, instead I snuck up on her.
“Pony” I whispered in her left ear, as I moved to her right, making myself visible. She turned to her left and looked a bit scared.
“Who’s there?” she asked with a nervous hint in her voice.
“Who’s where?” I asked, making myself look as innocent as possible.
“GAH!” she screamed, as she fell onto her flank, looking at me.
“Hi, found a great little command” I said, helping her up onto her feet.
“That was not nice, do you know how scared I just got?” she said, in a slightly mad tone.
“Sorry, I couldn’t help myself, when I saw I could make myself invisible, I had to do it, just once. I promise I won't use it to scare anyone again, unless it Halloween or something” I said, apologizing as best I could.
“What’s Halloween?” twilight asked.
“It's one of the best times of the year, where kids dress up and go from door to door, asking for candy. It's also the best time for pranks”
“That sounds a lot like Nightmare Night” twilight said, seeming to be in thought.
“Who knows, they might be the same, only way to find out, is to try and be part of it, but before that, we need to find out if this is safe” I said, pointing at the computer. Twilight agreed, and we continued to see what the device could do.
“Okay, up next is the object create command, ready twilight?” I asked making sure she was ready, she gave me a nod, and I tried to create and object, but not just any object, I thought about how the technology here was behind, so I tried to create a computer from my world, so she could study it. “Here we go, Object.Create.AcerAspire9300.”I said out loud, as I pressed the enter key, there was a small light in front of me, and as I opened my eyes, I saw my old computer from when I was younger.
“What in the name of Celestia is that?” Twilight asked, as it just floated in front of me, spinning at a slow speed.
“it's a computer from my world, a bit old compared to some of the newer models, but it should be great to study for you, as it has a 1.6 GHz core, compared to your worlds 4 MHz, as well as 160 GB space, again compared to yours 128 KB” I said, as I grabbed the computer, opening it up, to see if it had power, and if not, I would have to create a power supply for it as well. it did not, so i quickly made a supply for it.
“Wow, it's so small” Twilight said, as she moved around her magical barrier.
“Not compared to some newer computers, but it's one of the computers I remember the best, but mostly because one of my friends had one too, which he cared for a lot, and I just used it however I wanted to, and yet, his broke down first, making him wonder if it was defect” I said, remembering the funny discussion we had, and how he tried to get us to switch computers because it was ‘unfair that his died’. ”And now it's all yours” I said as I let her take it in her magical grasp.
“Wow, I can’t wait to take it apart, and see how much I can learn from it!” she almost screamed in excitement.
“Yeah, well I think that is going to be it for today, so far I haven’t seen any accidents with it, or anything other than a world manipulating device, that only does what the user wants it too” I said, as I tried to get Twilights attention. “Twilight? Are you okay?” I asked, shaking a hand in front of her muzzle. This caused her to react.
“What did you say?” she asked, simply. Still looking at the computer in her hooves.
“I said, that as far as we have tested it, I can’t see anything dangerous in this device unless I create something dangerous, so in my mind, it's safe”
“I think we can agree on that, so far, it seems like it's just doing, what the user wants it too, in that strange language” she said, deep in thought.
“So I can go now? I kinda promised Applebloom that I would meet her friends, and if this thing was safe, possibly show them what it could do”
“sure you can go, I'm going to start studying this computer” she said, opening the door with her magic, and just as I left, I used the object create command to make a screwdriver set.
“Twilight, catch!” I said, waiting for her to turn around, before tossing it to her. “This will help you get into it, without breaking it” I said, as I left her basement and headed towards the Apple family farm. The ponies, still eyed me a bit, but most just continued with whatever they were doing.
“Okay, so you are Scootaloo” I said, pointing to the orange Pegasus, still pretending to know nothing of this world. “You are Sweetie Belle” I said, pointing to the white unicorn. Both fillies nodded, and Applebloom walked towards them, all three wearing their capes.
“And we are the…” I braced myself as I saw them inhale deeply, before shouting out the words “CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!”
“Okay I get it, you are three friends doing all kinds of stuff, to get your cutie marks?” I once again, pretended not to know.
“That’s right, and that reminds me, do you have a cutie mark?” Applebloom asked. Instantly Sweetie Belle asked.
“Can we see it?”
“I'm sorry but you can’t, as I don’t have one.” I said, as I looked at the three fillies.
“Why not, don’t you know what you are supposed to do?” Scootaloo asked.
“I do know what I'm supposed to do, but in my world we just don’t get them.” I said, smiling at the three fillies.
“Maybe that’s why we can’t get our cutie marks, maybe we are from your world too!” Sweetie Belle said.
“That might be, but I doubt it a bit, because if you were from my world, why would you be born in this one?” I asked them, making them think for a bit. Applebloom was the first one to speak up.
“Maybe that’s why we don’t have our cutie marks yet, it's because they have something to do with you” she said, growing a smile on her face.
“That might be, but we are not going to find out about that today, since it's already sundown, and I need to get some rest, I'm sure Twilight has a lot of questions for me tomorrow.” I said, heading for the door of the treehouse.
“Why do you think so?” Scootaloo asked, I stopped, turned around and said.
“Because I gave her a gift from my world, don’t worry, you will get one too, when I figure out what to give you three” I smiled and left the treehouse, heading for the barn.
