I have a feeling the journal will be used for flashback like sequences while the main adventure will be taken by Fluttershy and Applejack. However nonetheless I had seen few spelling mistakes, hard to notice but still there. Well written, and nice thoughts.

Edit: I just realized that there is a small problem with Alex. As I said, by the time Alex ends up in your story, he's a Unicorn. A small little mistake, but I just thought that I should point it out. Still a great story overall.
2491391 Eh, either way Could explain that the AU, or alternate universe theory could come into play here temporarily stripping Alex of the unicorn change due to the time line technically being a thousand+ years before his younger self was born, that and the fact that unicorn mages in this AU are the equivalent of the Celestial Dragons in One Piece. While not all unicorns are bad, they are generally frowned upon by the general populace (in secret mind you) if they are in fancy garments or wielding a magical artifact.
Pretty much, while it may be desirable to have a horn In normal equestrian time, back then it was a lot more Racial issues and Mages hoarding their magic above everypony else

Okay, nice to see this still updating.
3193535 Yep, took a while to get back to this, writers block sucked. Now it seems to have reversed rolls with a few other stories I've been writing. Now its going to probably be two pairs of stories going at each other for chapters until eventually all four get done. Though Fighter marks the second arc, of a planned 4-6 perhaps 7 at most. I'll be trying to write a bit more of this and a new fiction idea that has occurred whenever I get blocked on Hal and Soul's story. No point Ramming through the block. Quality after all isn't made from forcing things. Though I have to just adore finally having an editor who edits things
