I'm also Psycho-genius brony, but I had a password error.

An average Joe of a stallion comes across a realization. His life is like a clock, repeating itself over and over. He wishes to change that, but is too far into his current life. Still, he can make an attempt to try. He decides to leave Manehatten and seek who he could be.

These days I can't focus and my eyes cry blood. I need help. Not medical help mind you, I mean editorial help.

Fascinating picture for this story. Bhaskara's Wheel, no?

Pax

2621418 Yes I know. It's supposed to be a perpetual motion machine that runs on centrifugal force and gravity.

2621435

It failed because of gravity and friction. It was a good idea, but ultimately doomed to failure. However, if you use strategically placed electromagnets and kinetic technology, as well as some basic electron excitation with a coil and a magnet, it could very well work.

Pax

2730466 Except it might turn out to be endothermic. In the event the electromagnets take up to much energy, it might end up not being self supporting. Besides, common generators of today are quite inefficient and produce waste heat.
Which is bad. I still prefer the void generator.
In effect, it extracts power from virtual particles. Effectively making energy from "nothing".

...I really like you now.

Pax

2742338 Is that in a weird way, or in a friendly way? Also, what make you like me?

2742576Friendly.

No-homo. And perpetual motion, the various and the potential for energy from it is something I've been studying a for awhile now.

2742330 This post really surprised me, I don't often see something like that. I might even go so far as to say it... impressed me. Scientifically, see? I am an amateur scientist of some small repute, as well as a garage inventor. I am currently working on a design for a new vehicle, the power plant for which, if I am correct, will either revolutionize or provide one hell of a jump (no pun intended) to a revolution in energy production. I've been working on it since I was twelve. Bhaskara's Wheel was one of the first things I looked at. The schematic is already complete; I'm simply looking for funding now. I ought to be able to unveil it in perhaps a year, perhaps two, three at most.

Sorry. I don't mean to rant. It's just I'm rather excited to be conversing with someone who appears to be quite intelligent, something (not meaning to sound arrogant, but I may not be able to help) I've not been able to do for quite some time.

2742809 Me? I'm just a loser of a 12 year old. I've been planning on becoming a garage inventor for a long long time, but everytime I try, I just give up before I start.

2742826

You'll never accomplish your dreams if you just give up. Giving up has quashed more dreams and goals than failure ever has.

Take Thomas Edison for example. I hate using him as an example, as he was little more than a thief, (but he actually was more than just a thief), but he is an accurate example.

He tried and failed a thousand times to make a successful light bulb. The number is not quite accurate and he really just built on the idea and made it workable and marketable, but still! He knew it could work, and he kept at it until it fit. Did you know that there is an old, old light bulb that has burned continuously for over a hundred years? Guess who made it? No, really, guess. That's right. Thomas Edison. What would have happened if he'd just given up?

Pax

2742892 We'd all be in the dark. I see. Thank you. I'll try again. Hopefully this time, I won't give up. Who knows, maybe I'll make a void generator, and find a reasonable source of negative matter.

2742902

I'll shut up after this bit here, I swear. I'm taking up valuable comment space for your future readers, but I'm really just too lazy to use private messages. Now, to the bit!

Negative matter... Anti-matter? And finally, "Holy Shit, did you submit the story?!"

Pax

2742922 Yes. Is there a problem? Also about negative matter. It has been put to scientific theorem that an area can indeed have negative mass. In this event, antigravity is generated. This effect causes negative matter to be incredibly valuable in the creation of a space-time engine. You see, if you create a machine capable of warping space time, you can make something go faster than the speed of light without breaking the universal speed law. So negative energy is very important for someone whose lifelong dream is to make reality into their molding clay.

2742940
No, not a real big problem. You've just not corrected some parts of the passage. For example:

As he arrived in his workplace, he saw a butterfly. A butterfly, works for his food everyday, flies cumulative miles upon miles, never complains, and yet he is set so lowly. How odd. Perhaps this philosophy of mine is not so stupid after all. Perhaps I shall continue to pursue it.

You've still not italicized the above thought, nor the one below:

How big it looks, but... isn't that light coming from the Statue? That's a few hundred miles from the shoreline itself. I'm miles from the shoreline. It would be impossible to reach that place from here without a vehicle.

"I think I should get some sleep for now," The quotation marks ("") should be removed.

I'll do anything in his power to light the way! Only one error here. It should be "I'll do anything in "my" power", not "his".

Other than that, it's all good.
