Yes! Update!
-after reading- Aw shiiit, the CMC are going to have fun with him till he wises up... I really like this concept, please make it into a full-blown story...

So... a tree has wood for AJ?:facehoof::trollestia::applejackconfused:
Also mice to see mature fics with actual IC characters and plot.

He is now Double G. And awesome.

So.... I take it your going with fully anthropomorphic ponies for this story?
So far it looks like a good start. Will fav and up vote.
Hope to see another chapter of MLT soon to.
Keep up the great writing.

So one thing I forgot to ask in the last story, are they anthropomorphic? You mention hooves and hands and that kinda got confusing when talking about there anatomy. If they are then that would explaine the need for clothes since when I started reading this I thought they where all just regular ponies. This seems like it will be an interesting story.:rainbowdetermined2: I hope George wises up soon though.:rainbowlaugh:

Yes, the ponies are all anthropomorphic.

2406076 In retrospect I should have realized this sooner after reading some of your earlier stories. :facehoof: Like the ones involving Sonic the Hedgehog Crossovers.

I love Giant George's absurdly simplistic yet completely effective thought patterns. At least, they were effective until the CMC got a hold of him.
"I am not a tree." Poor bastard's hilarious.

2429330
Yeah, George thinks of things in very simple terms. THis is actually quite effective for the most part. And yes, the CMC could very well have quite a bit of fun with him...especially since he doesn't have a Cutie Mark yet!:unsuresweetie:

i look forward to any continuations of this story. seriously though? george the apple tree turns into an uber-powerful elemental creature? it's definitely interesting. . . definite like and fave though

2439157
I based the nature of Elementals rather heavily on how they are represented in the fantasy works of Tamora Pierce, like "The Lioness Quartet". Oddly enough, the inspiration for George's thought process and behaviour derive from a short story by the same author called "Elder Brother".

GG is the best straight man ever!

Given the bit in the Boutique, I was thinking more this:

kraseybeauty.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/George-of-the-Jungle.jpg
i4.ytimg.com/vi/kHn2WSqBqZ8/mqdefault.jpg

But yes, that's the reference I was going for.

Oh man this story is hilarius. Though a bit odd at some points it is still a very interesting read. Can't wait for the next chapter.:rainbowlaugh:

When George hits a tree, is it called assault?:rainbowhuh:
I wonder where the story goes from here...:twilightoops:

2474805
This George gets warning about the trees from the trees, so he's watching out.
Unlike 'Pound My Pumpkin', I actually have a plan for this story.:rainbowlaugh:

2474850 Please tell me you will have apples that move around like spiders that go "SCREE!" as they jump onto Diamond Tiaras face!:pinkiecrazy:
That would make many, many ponies days.:pinkiehappy:
Oh look a tasty apple!:rainbowkiss:
"SCREEEE!":flutterrage:
HAHAHA!:rainbowlaugh:

2474864
No, George can not do that.
Discord can, though. Might happen.

Hey! I see you went with my title suggestion! nothing much else come up? or was it just that nothing managed to be much good?

I'm sorry but the picture of George looks too silly to me. I figured he'd look more like a ponified sprigan.

2982983
Well, the picture isn't quite what I imagined either, but it was a gift.

2983103 Ah. Sentimentality. I understand that.

Ok, I read Applejacks garden and loved it, and now reading this It's getting Faved and I look forward to more.

:pinkiesmile::pinkiesmile::pinkiesmile::pinkiesmile: / 5

Dude. How are you so good at writing? This is amazing. It flows together so well and George's character development is very good.
I hope there's more to come!

So far so good. He's a little nieve right now but he learns fast.

Oh, I'm so glad to see this continuing.

Wow, surprised to see this pop up. Its been what? A year and a half. Wow...:pinkiegasp: Also, you've go a lot more stories with a lot more likes and views. Not that I am complaining but what made you return to this one? Are you finally going to try and finish some of the stories you have yet to finish?

5024243
I reread the short story that originally inspired Giant George's thought process.
And...for the newer stories with more likes/views, I realized most of what I'm looking forward to writing is so far down the line it's discouraging (an example: in "Sparkle in His Eye", I'm currently at the plot of "Ratchet & Clank" (first game), and the first major plot point I'm looking forward to writing is in "Size Matters" (fifth game).)
However, stuff I'm going to enjoy writing for this story is one or two chapters ahead, instead of ten or 20. Thus I'll write this for a while.

YYAAAAY!:yay: Eets Ahliiiivee!:pinkiecrazy: *happy dance* "Woot, woot! Flubb-idy dubb-idy, WUB! WUB! boing!"...
. . .
. . .
. . .
:twilightoops::twilightblush: Eh heh heh, oops.:pinkiesick::facehoof:

:Edit: Looks like you have a slog-fest for 'Sparkle in His Eye', hope you don't get too bogged down.

5024381
Oh, there's quite a bit I want to do for "Sparkle in His Eye", and a few fun points in each game.

Problem is, I've looked through all the Ratchet and Clank games currently out, and slated ten of them for inclusion in it. Each game has about 9-10 worlds with plot, on average. Even one world per chapter, that's nearly 100 chapters to that story...and that's not including interlude chapters and what I have planned for the post-games plotline.

...wow. I just realized how big a project that story's going to be...Mommy...

5024470 Mmm, are there any levels that can be cut out? I ask because it would get very dry and grind-y if you did. every. level.
I'll be brutally honest... I haven't looked at what you've done so far with the story, but doing every level will make it pretty much a walk-through... of 10 games... Wow. :applejackconfused:

:ajsleepy:Just take little bites, dude, lots n lots of little bites... and chew thoroughly.:raritywink::eeyup:

5033557
Well, not to spoiler anything, but most of games 2 and 9 won't be covered walkthrough style for reasons, and game 4 will be original spin...
And actually, games 7 and 10 are much shorter than the others...

And it won't be walkthrough style. Some chapters may cover multiple levels if nothing much happens.

So... Pinkie's dad is... not a rock. And she most certainly isn't constantly hearing gossip from invisible friends and.. relatives?

That's one of the more creative explanations for the Pinkie Sense I've seen.

Oh god, it just occurred to me... that whole Party of One business with Madame LeFlour, Rocky, and her other "friends" takes on a whole new possible meaning if she can actually hear elemental spirits. :rainbowderp:

5043788
Damn! I hadn't even thought of any of that! I was trying to explain her crazy cartoonish abilities by saying she was half metamorphic rock elemental.

2458793
George,
George,
George of the Jungle,
Stronge as he can be.
"AAahhAahhhahAAaAhhhhaa!"
He is not a tree!

5043956 *Re-read complete* Oh yes, yes~. Please, continue.

I in particular have no right to try and badger anyone about updating stories, but... couldja please? :scootangel:

This story also has a neat concept. I like how pinkie is the daughter of a stone elemental. Another for my favs bucket!

Wow
This story is beautiful,
Hehe Rarity was a little perverted... So was Cherilee i take it George looks very handsome? Because from the Cover Art he must look different (or the ponies would not be fooled this easy)
And really nice touch, making Pinkie the daugther of a rock elemental.
Hmmm..
I would love to read about Twilights expression when finding out (about the tree elemental not Pinkies heritage) Hoping to read more
J
