I like it. Nicely done.
Very nice. Though I'm not sure what the Douglas Adams reference is doing in there.

Thanks, although I'm not sure what you mean; I've actually never read Douglas Adams's work and can't say it was on my mind at the time.

Ah, right! Sorry, my brain's a bit turned off today. That was actually a reference to the Fall Weather Friends episode (with the Iron Pony competition), in which a particular pony was given the racer number 42. I know it's a reference in itself as well, but that's why I used it.
2042768 Ah, that was Twilight's number of course if I remember correctly
Tears
True TEARS.
beautiful.
Beautiful.
Excellent story. I don't know if it was purposeful, but there is a definite "Is she dead?" mislead. Maybe it only hit with me because I don't know much of the fandom, but I wasn't sure just how dark it was going to be in the end. But the tone throughout is certainly that of serene longing, not of mourning. I also highly appreciate the constant imagery of distance that pervades before the reveal.

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! (And that you were able to find it, haha.) Yeah, the ambiguity between distance and death was an intentional thing; glad you were able to pick up on it.
Shit I'm crying
That was just beautiful
