For years now a creature wanders the world of Albion, with questions in his head and sand in his boots. The questions are rather simple: Where do I come from and where will I go? But how do they say? Sometimes, the journey is the reward.

Albion? Do I sense a Fable reference?
2103052 albion is the old name of england
2103083 I know, but I was wondering if the game influenced his decision to name it that.
2103133
No, Fable hasn't much to do with this. Albion is a often used name for many fantasy worlds and
I decided to use it since it is in fact an old name for England. Canterlot, the capital of Equestria, is a pun on Camelot, which is also
an old English city. If you believe wikipedia, it really existed. Today its called Colchester.
2105739 I know what Camelot is...
King Arthur haha

I didn't mean to say you don't. Just wanted to have the thought complete.
well i want moar....
Sorry, this is pretty entertaining so far, but I have to ask... what the heck is a "sable"? In context, you appear to be refering to a weapon, and I saw it last chapter as well, when he was dealing with the sailor Gryphon.
As far as I know, a "sable" is:
1. an Old World weasellike mammal, Mustela zibellina, of cold regions in Eurasia and the North Pacific islands, valued for its dark brown fur.
2. a marten, especially Mustela americana.
3.the fur of the sable.
4. the color black, often being one of the heraldic colors.
5. sables, mourning garments.
I think, judging from the context, what you mean is a "saber" which is a kind of backsword that usually has a curved, single-edged blade and a rather large hand guard, covering the knuckles of the hand as well as the thumb and forefinger. If you actually mean some kind of sable weapon, then I admit, I want details, because I've never heard of it.
and listened to the conversation
2536653 a misspelling of saber

There's a huge difference between looking for any reason to have drama in a story, and giving the characters an aspect of distrust. As far as I'm concerned, he has been given no reason to trust them, but he has to give the benefit of doubt in order to survive.
5675011 rly nigga?
5675011 I do believe you are definitely in the minority in thinking the story is 'shit'. Actually, after reading all of the comments, you are the only one I saw who didn't like it.
I happen to like this story, along with most everyone else.
I fell in love with this story.
