The quiet! Normally such a silence wouldn't get to me. Now all it did was remind me of how alone I was.

"Winter" I muttered discusted with the words very exsistence. It felt dirty as if I had the gall to utter the most vulgar swear "winter." Turning to lie on my other side clensed me of these thoughts at least; but it could never cure the quiet that hung thick in the air. Mocking me with it's presence. Forcing my eyes closed I wished for something anything to break the accursed silence. Humming! That would work 'drifting off to sleep exciting day behind you."

If anything now I felt even more awake. This wasn't working... nothing would. Maybe I should just go for a walk. Ponyville was just as quiet as my cottage maybe even more so. Yet it took on a more placid nature. I should do this more often.

"FLUTTERSHY your up too you know what this calls for a slumber party or should I say a hibernation party! Are you ok you seem rather spaced out!"

Hibernation. What a cruel word.
