Sight-Reading

After a month of uncertainty, sulking, and reorientation, Sonata rambles her shower thoughts on everything from the sirens' new human voices, to the loss of their magic, to the Rainbooms.

This is a short, stream-of-consciousness character voice exercise. Dialogue is fun, so why not remove everything else? I'm rather pleased with it; Sonata's head, as it turns out, is a delightful place to be.

That's the typical interpretation, as far as I can tell, and the one I subscribe to.

Strictly speaking, the comics show the sirens arriving on modern Earth. However, the circumstances of their departure differ between the comics and the show so who knows how reliable that is, and, more importantly, that's less fun. So yes, they have.

It makes me wonder how they didn't conquer the world in the meantime, like, it doesn't seem like it would be that difficult for them to brainwash a kingdom and use it to conquer the rest of the world, there is literally a path in EaW mod that they do this
