After failing to retrieve the Elements of Harmony, Chrysalis decided to revive the clones that she created. She doesn't understand why she did this, but now she has to deal with the consequences of keeping a bunch of evil, immature, backstabbing and annoying clones around.

Thankfully, she might just have a solution.

Good job!Just think about that what will happen when these clones meet the real mane six.:pinkiecrazy:

And she does such a good job they become just as good as the originals and try to reform her.:rainbowlaugh:

As Chrysalis looked over the still gloating Twilight, she had a revelation: They were brats. Heck, considering how old they were they may as well have been over sized fillies.

I mean to be honest they were just born just yesterday literally

the shenanigans!

OMFG, that was funny! I normally hate comments that ask for sequels, but I'd love to read a sequel.

For an evil Twilight clone, she doesn't seem very smart. It seems to me that the evil genius first tried to unlock his magic, and then remove Chrysalis from his path if the situation required it.
attacking with a sharpened stick and shouting loudly about it is a very stupid act.

This is definitely a very grey area when it comes to abuse and child disipline, so I'll skip that and look at Chrysalis.

It seems likely that Chrysalis would now start taking out her frustrations out on the clones whenever the mane 6 foil her again. It may even distract and tamper the queen's evil ways, probably getting used to living off of the clones for life without her realising it.

Possibly getting Queen Chrysalis primed for reformation... you know... if she developed an odd parent and daugthers relationship

I think the fic could benefit from having the bits of dialogue spaced out. Looks a little cluttered otherwise.

Aside from that, though, this was a great story. Didn't expect Chrysalis to go full mom, but if you think about it...act like a child and get treated like one.

I can't say I expected this to get featured. I'm glad people like it.

The thing is, I wrote this story years ago among others and now I'm just randomly uploading them to fimfic partially out of boredom and for archival purposes. I'll think about a sequel, but I'm really not sure how I would continue this.

Probably a fight, at least at first. Chrysalis isn't exactly teaching them to be friendly with their counterparts.

Maybe, but as far as we saw in the show, she did have the Elements of Harmony to get as a way of betrayal, which gave her a clear avenue for rebelling so its not like we saw her being that smart. Now she doesn't have her magic and presumably wasted a bunch of plans on trying to assassinate Chrysalis so she could just be out of ideas.

Maybe not direct her frustrations, although its a possibility. I'd actually imagine that she'd try to reign the clones in before trying again with the Main 6. By that point, actually teaching the clones may teach her some amount of calmness so that she would not get frustrated enough to resort to that, but who knows.

I suppose trying to "raise" them may lead to an avenue for future redemption for her. At the very least dealing with them on a day to day basis would teach her to tolerate others on the sole basis that they cannot be any more irritating then her "children".

Yea, sadly the format and place I originally put them in didn't translate very well to Fimfiction. I thought about adding some double spaces, but that looked even worse, I feel. Honestly, I did not do much edits with the story when copying it over.

And yea, if you think about it, the Mean 6 were pretty childish at times in the show itself. That and considering how young they are, it would not be that inappropriate to treat them as children.

nevertheless, in her short time, she managed to show traits of cunning, prudence, cold-bloodedness and the ability to manipulate others with words. (there was also a small moment of temper)
in my opinion, at the moment it is most unprofitable for her to kill Chrysalis because she is the only one who knows how to safely unlock magic. There is no guarantee that after the death of Chrysalis the magic will be unlocked. It makes more sense to carry out any plans only after the magic can be unlocked (by tricking Chrysalis or by finding a way yourself.)

We need more stories where the rest of the mean six get spanked. It isn't sexual and I love how childish and embarrassing it got for Evil Twilight:twilightblush:

I got to say it was a pretty interesting story and it's always interesting to see those clones again not enough stories about them ever since their first and deduction but it's also another what if scenario if they're still around and Chrysalis trained them but because of their discipline she has to treat them like kids since practically they were born yesterday and Chrysalis really had an interesting method of dealing with bad behavior children but I got to say this was pretty good keep up the good work

The ineffectiveness of corporal punishment adds another layer to this story. Chrysalis's incompetence at disciplining her underlings - be they workers or "children" - is constant, led to her undoing in the past, and if this continues, is likely to lead to her undoing in the future.

Either that or she realized that even with her magic back, she won't be able to successfully coup Chrysalis without killing her. She is quite young and as such, would be prone to rash actions. I could honestly see her acting in a more quick manner without being guided to something that would get her power, like the elements. Heck, she didn't even seem to have a plan post-EOH taking.

11803750
Maybe. I suppose with how bratty those 6 could be in that episode, Chrysalis would probably do it again in this universe.

11803874
In a sense, I doubt that Chrysalis would have much patience with softer forms of discipline when dealing with what are essentially a bunch of bratty kids she is forced to live in close proximity with. I honestly think she would just end up resulting to physical punishments sooner or later. Weather or not this would have any effect in the long run is really up for speculation.

I would really like a story starring these versions of the elements, it would be a great potential, very good story
