As mentioned in chapter 3, zebras have Spirit magic (sort of) and a natural talent for Alchemy. Runes/tattoos can be used by anyone.
There are also some types of magic that everyone can use (except Alexei, hahaha)

All I can say is that it's going to be wild

Given the entirely underused use of magical items in the show, I'd say he could go pretty far as a Mechanical Mage (i.e. no magic of his own, getting his powers strictly from magic items).

So.. lemme get this straight-
An honored guest, who saved a child from a gruesome death, stays and learns about the world around him from this child's family, and askes to become a friend of your tribe.
And not a day later- some cocksure loudmouth possibly literal mothafuckah, demands justice from him, because supposedly they desecrated an ancestral shrine/grave.

And rather than using the Shaman that can use literal Ancestor Ghosts to tell the difference between truth and lies, you decide to instead, just jump straight into ritual combat... And you're somehow shocked when he's had enough of your shit, and removes any future chance of the previously mentioned mothafuckah from causing trouble in the living realm ever again.

I dunno 'bout you.. But I'm pretty sure his ancestors are gonna have some good words for him now he's dead.
