Now, There are a few things about this chapter that may or may not be important:
First off: There are lots of completely unsubtle Mass Effect references. Paragon, Renegade, and Celestia calling them collectively "Paragade" are all references, not to mention the little bit at the end.
Secondly, the "Applejack is Shepard's favorite pony" bit came from this video, where Mark Meer (VA of maleshep) announced Applejack was Commander Shepard's favorite pony in all of Equestria. I ran with it.
