Transhumanism is about how technological advancement will change humans as a species. Both culturally and physically. Think widespread cybernetic enhancements and genetic augmentation, what will life be like where that is common?
It's seen a lot in Sci-fi and varies as a sign of dystopia or utopia depending on implementation. Think Altered Carbon, Cyberpunk, Ghost in the Shell and Akira.
