Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock

You never know what to expect in life. This sentence is especially true for High Rise. The drummer for a disbanded rock band and accidental time traveler. After being sent back 100 years into the past, High Rise must learn to live in a time that has already happened. While having to avoid breaking history with his actions.

The town of Ponyville’s newest resident brings with him a difficult history. From broken friendships, to lost legends, to being lost in the sea of the past. Will this simple drummer find a way back to his home, or will he be lost to history?

A pet passion project of mine after a resurgence in MLP interest. Will update with more as the words keep flowing.

Events in the story begin at Season 2, Episode 19: It’s About Time. SPOILERS for the entirety of the MLP: FiM storyline.

Thank you  I’ll do my best to keep it going.

This is a fun premise. Idk why this isn't getting more attention.

MOAR, this is good and I want to keep reading!

I do hope to read more in the future. This story is underrated.

“Thank you Ponyville!” The singer cried out in between gasps of air. “We are The Night-Mares! Have a good night!”

Love the name of the group! My guess, in Equestria it can be quite radical

It was with no conscious thought that High Rise knocked on the door to the same beat as the final song from the Night-Mares show. Nor was it conscious that his hoof continued to tap to that same beat against the floorboards under him. Despite his concerns, the high he felt from playing with his favorite band was still strong within him. Following simple rhythms and beats helped to calm his nerves, and he had all sorts of nerves to calm.

Ah, I know the feel...

In front of High Rise stood a purple unicorn mare, her horn aglow with magenta as her magic brought open the door.

I know who it is!

“I need your help getting home, Twilight Sparkle. I was sent 100 years into the past!”

Gasp!

With the morning sun came aches and pains from High Rise’s body. Sleeping in a wide open flower field may seem idyllic, but it was actually incredibly uncomfortable and highly likely to result in small critters crawling on your legs. A feeling that High Rise was not quite comfortable with, if the girly scream he let out was any indication. Shaking off his entire body of any critters that decided to keep him company. He wasn’t afraid of bugs, but he hated the feeling of them.

Truly, a very relatable protagonist
Though he might've found a bench, at least...

I agree, this should've got more attention

That's a pretty interesting premise! Though poor Drummer seems to almost spill the beans for Doctor with all but calling Twilight Princess and whatnot
I'm curious in your version of future Equestria

Hey, if you won't continue it, mind share how it was supposed to end? Kudos
