Manehattan is such a big place for such little ponies. High rises and concrete make for quite an uninviting, if alluring vista. With so many homes, offices, and shops squished close and stacked high, naturally it's going to get claustrophobic and stuffy; especially so during the summer, where the concrete jungle truly lives up to the moniker. Thankfully, there's one mare on a mission to provide a brand-new, life-saving commodity: air conditioning!
Airflow, the air mare extraordinaire, steps up to rescue ponies everywhere from Celestia's blistering sun (as all batponies should strive for). Join her and her acquaintances as she brings forth the dawn of a new age in home comfort! She'll soon learn however, that not everypony is so appreciative of her rising success...

Not quite sure how things are in Peru, but in Mexico, at least, "Anciana" means "Elderly [female]", so "La Panadería Anciana" should really be "La Panadería Antigua".
Also got a bit confused when the elderly mare was named "Grano Anciano", a masculine noun and adjective. A bit of a stretch here, but she could be named "Gramínea Anciana".

Yeah, I was really hoping there'd be a better word for 'ancient' than just 'antiguo', which to me just doesn't have the same connotation. I may run back through that chapter and make a few edits to both the bakery and Grano's names. (I think I may keep Grano unchanged though, just so I can keep that joke about being old lol.) Naturally I'd update the Authors Notes too.
Speaking of that! How does everyone feel about the translations contained there? Is it too much? Would it be preferable to include the translation immediately within the story, or would that break the flow? I'd like feedback on this! I very much would like to share little bits of Peruvian culture through Grano, the bakery, and snippets of Airflow's dialogue. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't work well, but I'd rather the story itself take precedent over it.
In the mean time, with the upcoming 4th of July celebrations I've got myself a long weekend, and will be working on Chapter 3! I may even have the time to write a sort of cameo "Chapter 2.5" or something, assuming I get permission/approval to include the particular OC I have in mind. I'm hoping to get it all written and proofread/edited by the next weekend!
