Long ago before Princess Celestia and Luna, there was once a game that ponies play to show dominance and power to those below. But these a dark evil presents used these Shadow games almost brought Equestria to its doom, until a brave and powerful stallion stood up to this evil and sealed away this evil for good.

Many years later, these Shadow games have transformed into the most popular card game in all of Equestria known as Dual Monsters. In the School of Friendship run by Twilight Sparkle and her friends, is a colt who is the reincarnation of the stallion who defeated the evil long ago loves the game more than anycreature. DS, (short for Duelist Striker) and his deck of Gem Dragon knights are ready to face anything that comes their way. But will he'll be able to face the evil that is lonely returning?

(This story will have all the summoning methods and Rush Duels as well.)

"I activate my trap card, Gem Defender Half Break!" DS declared as one of his face downs flipped up and it had a picture of his Pearl Defender with a half broken shield on it. "Thanks to this, I'll only take half damage for the rest of this turn!" When Garnet was destroyed, he was sent flying back and lay on the ground.

Does the trap activate before the attack?
Since Ancient Gear Golem prevents spells and traps from activating until the end of the Damage Step when it attacks.

Before he was going to make his next move, he looked at Saffira who had a warm smile on her face before she gave a nod. " This is for my new school. " He thought before he took another card in his hand and played it. "From my hand, I play the continuous spell known as Solidarity! With, Saffira games 800 attack points for each of the same type monster that's in my graveyard."

Solidarity doesn't boost 800 for EACH monster in the grave but just 800 in general

En el momento en que dijo eso, Celestia recordó cuando un semental solía decir eso cuando ella era solo una potranca y Luna era una potra.

The chapter was incredible, but I think it would have been more interesting if DS (console name you gave it) if Celestia or Luna had had an affair with him in his past life

Great chapter, and looks like DS is showing the Young Six how to duel and looks like he faced another challenger, Night Aura who worked at the EEA, and it was a tie, that was an interesting and great chapter, awesome job.
